Terrible experience here that is still not resolved. Dr. Sherwood is kind and professional. The rest of the staff is friendly, but there seems to be a lack of training or care for the job. I originally went in to get a pair of glasses 2 months ago. When I received the glasses, it was very obvious that the focal point of the lenses was far beneath where my pupil is, so that I could only see clearly out of them if I were looking down. At other glasses places I’ve gone to, they measure where the pupil sits. But this place did not. I pointed out the issue and they measured where my pupil sits and sent the glasses back to be remade. Now it has been 6 weeks since then and I STILL don’t have my glasses. Nobody at the store seems to care. Nobody calls to update me on them. I’ve called to try to get the glasses, which I’ve already paid for, multiple times. I was told a couple weeks ago that somebody lost the frames in transit and that they would definitely be complete by 6/17. 6/18 comes up and they still do not have my glasses, nor does anyone have any information for me. If they lost the frames that I paid for, why would they not just replace them and attempt to resolve this issue on their own? They were not expensive frames to begin with. The fact that I have to regularly call this place now just to try and remind them to make the glasses I paid for feels ridiculous. Additionally, I was overcharged because the tech did not seem to want to utilize my insurance and said it would be “cheaper” if she charged me for the store’s bogo deal. But I checked with my insurance, and I should have been able to get free lenses if they just showed my insurance that my prescription had changed. People seem nice enough but I really have no trust in this place any more, and if I were you I would stay far far away to save the headache.

Excellent customer service. Went there to swap my broken glasses for a replacement pair. They were quick and friendly. And gave tips for caring for my glasses. Parking can be crowded during peak times, I went around 430pm on a weekday.

Overall exam went fantastically, I liked the eye doctor and I like the testing, I did not like the pressure sale by the assistant out front. I informed the assistant I did not want to spend more on a frame than what the insurance covered. Yet the frames Brought to me or from the more expenses side of the wall without acknowledging to me Those frames cost more. Listen to your customer. Don’t try to up charge that ain’t cool. I was very disappointed with that and to me it’s a sneaky way of trying to upgrade a sale I did not appreciate Trying to be taken to spend more money when the assistant clearly knew I was sticking with the plan

Dr. Sherwood is a great optometrist. As well as being personable, he is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has been a great experience every time.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Dr. Sherwood is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and it’s very clear that he genuinely cares about his patients. I have significantly worse vision in one eye and have always struggled with glasses because they caused double vision and a constant sense of imbalance, so I relied on contacts. Over the past two years, my vision had become increasingly blurry, especially at a distance, and it felt like I just couldn’t see clearly anymore. Dr. Sherwood adjusted my prescription so quickly, and honestly, it felt like I saw clearly for the first time yesterday. Everything is sharp and clear again—I can read easily and see things clearly at a distance. I’m still in awe of what a huge difference such a simple adjustment made. He even explained why my glasses gave me that imbalance and how we could make it that I would be able to in the future if I decided to get glasses; it’s so crazy that he is the first doctor in 10-15 years that was able to help with both. I do not remember her name (Sorry!!!) but the employee helping me order the contacts and bill everything through insurance was also sooooo caring and went above and beyond to help me with the prices. I am beyond grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Sherwood to anyone looking for exceptional eye care. Thank you sooooooooooo much! You guys have no idea what difference you’ve made!
