I was happy to find this office as it's close to my house, they accepted my insurance and it had great reviews. My first office visit was wonderful, everyone was super helpful and friendly! However, the honeymoon ended very quickly as when my glasses came in, the one bifocal was very noticeably the wrong prescription or wrong placement. I was told to leave and try it out and come back. I did not understand why no one believed me that something was not right. It was so bad, I didn't get very far and I turned my car around and came back in immediately. Unfortunately there was no doctor on staff at the time so although they were able to diagnose the problem, I still had to come back again. I was unable to come when I was told to come back so I came the following day and was given a hard time saying I need to come back tomorrow. Ultimately the eye doctor fit me in and I was able to get a new lens order. However, when I went to pick it up tonight, the nightmare continued. There was only one gentleman waiting ahead of me and I was told it would be a few minutes wait. After 20 minutes I asked how much longer, if they could please give me an estimate and the front desk told me they couldn't give me one. 15 minutes later I asked again how much longer and they again refuse to tell me but I was told I would go after Mr. Blank who was his current customer. I decided to continue to wait as it appeared that customer was almost done as pricing was being discussed. However when it was my turn to go, much to my shock and confusion, he instead took the customer's wife and daughter! I'm not sure if I was lied to or if he changed his mind or clearly miscommunicated how many customers were before me, but nevertheless this is poor customer service, especially when this was already my FIFTH office visit since my first visit on March 23 when I should have had my glasses on the second visit. If there were truly three people in front of me despite being told only the current customer was in front of me, I should have been told that it would be well over an hour wait so I had the opportunity to decide if I wanted to wait or come back (I would have clearly chosen the latter), especially when I asked twice for an estimate of how long the wait was. Or they should have tried to fit me while he was shopping and deciding what frames he wanted as my appointment would have taken less than 5 mintues plus considering I have already been to the office an excessive number of tlmes. I requested to make an appointment for tomorrow to come back and to hopefully FINALLY get the correct len and I was told I could not do that Instead, I wasted almost 45 minutes of my time (42 minutes to be exact) before I finally got up and left as I had another appointment and could no longer wait, especially considering no one would answer approximately how much longer the wait would be. This was my FIFTH visit to this office, sadly I have to go back again which will be my SIXTH OFFICE VISIT FOR ONE PAIR OF GLASSES, which is THREE TIMES the number of visits it should have taken! I'm a reasonable person and I understand mistakes happen and sometimes are busier than others, but this is beyond anything that is reasonable, both the number of times I've had to visit the office for one pair of glasses and how I was treated tonight, especially given my previous history with this office. My hunt for an adequate eye doctor's office who values and respects their customers is currently underway. P.S. You will see almost all my reviews are five stars, I rarely post poor reviews unless the experience is especially awful.

The staff were very professional and polite. Dr. Goldschneider always provides excellent eye care and thorough yearly exams. Lastly, I am very pleased with the eyewear selection available in the office, which made it convenient for me to purchase glasses with my new prescription. Thank you for the excellent care!
Upon arriving, the staff was initially very friendly. However, my experience quickly changed after my eye exam. When I requested my pupillary distance (PD), the staff became evasive and unwilling to provide the information. When I asked for clarification, Dr. Dale Stein simply shrugged and did not offer any explanation. I was told by ‘Kim’ providing PD is “illegal,” which is completely inaccurate. PD is not part of the prescription, but it is also not illegal to share it. In fact, it’s a standard measurement used to properly fit glasses, especially for patients who choose to purchase eyewear elsewhere. It was disappointing to see such confusion around basic regulations, especially from a medical office. If this is the office’s policy, it should be clearly explained—not misrepresented as law. This experience felt less like patient care and more like a sales-driven approach. If I’m paying for an eye exam, I expect transparency and access to my own measurements. I will be reporting this experience to AEG Vision and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, as I believe this conduct is misleading and unprofessional. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.
This eye doctor is the BEST! From the time you walk in the door you are treated with kindness, care, and respect. The entire process is very simple, but yet handled in a timely manner. They are the best… if you need an eye doctor you won’t regret choosing them!
I have been going to these Doctors and Opticians since they were previously affiliated with a big chain located in Deptford. They are exceptional professionals and provide outstanding service to make sure you are well fitted and appropriately diagnosed for the best eyewear and corrections. I trust them to take care of my eyes!
