The office itself is welcoming and well-organized, which immediately puts you at ease. Doctor Salgado is truly exceptional—knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly attentive. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers every question with patience, and makes you feel completely supported in your care. You never feel rushed; instead, you feel like a priority. Her approach is both highly professional and genuinely compassionate, which is a rare and valuable combination. The staff is just as impressive—friendly, efficient, and always willing to go the extra mile to help with scheduling, insurance questions, or selecting frames. It’s clear that the entire team works together seamlessly and takes pride in what they do. Three days ago, (on May 28 Thursday) my mother and I visited the Albany branch. We were greeted by a gentleman to whom I explained that my mother had a prescription for glasses and that the purpose of our visit was for her to select frames for her new prescription eyewear. In a rather rude tone, he informed us that he was extremely busy and that this would not be possible without a prior appointment. This took me by surprise, as no optician I have ever visited has had such a policy. This incident left my 83-year-old mother feeling quite distressed; she had previously purchased prescription glasses from this very branch on two separate occasions without encountering any issues. To cut a long story short, the individual told us to go to Vision Works instead; we left immediately thereafter, feeling as though we had been kicked out. We will never visit this eye care provider again.

Dr.Salgado is the best! I always look forward to visiting her office for my exams! She is so kind, patient, smart, and truly cares about all of her patients. I never feel rushed or pressured to move quickly through an exam. She always answers all my questions and explains in a way so that I can understand. She makes the whole appointment a comfortable, enjoyable experience. I can’t say enough nice things about her. Her staff is also incredible. They always get back to me quickly and are ready to answer any questions I may have. Jose is so kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. He makes glasses fittings a breeze! I highly recommend visiting Dr.Salgado’s office for your next eye visit.

Amazing, Spectacular, Wonderful!! There aren’t enough words to describe how awesome Dr. Salgado is. She is the best eye doctor I’ve ever seen! She patient and understanding and is so so so smart! She educates you on everything! Also, her staff is top notch as well! Jose knows the insurance inside and out and knows the products so well. I’ve never ever had a hard time making an appointment or getting the perfect pair of glasses! I would highly recommend this office to anyone who wants an awesome experience!

Dr. Salgado and her staff are wonderful and friendly! Dr. Salgado thoroughly explained what would happen at each appointment and went over my different options and what my insurance covered. Jose helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses and I love them! Thank you!
