The first ophthalmologist I saw, he refused to do surgery on me because I was scared! With the second ophthalmologist who told me I’m legally blind and I need surgery, at the time of surgery my blood pressure went up and the surgery was canceled! My cousins recommended Dr Kline and I saw Dr Kline last September (2025), he scheduled me for surgery in October and I told him that I am scared to do it and he said cataract surgery is very common and easy, he explained the procedure and told me not to worry, but that didn’t convince me, two weeks prior to surgery I called in and requested to postpone the surgery for later! In the meantime my cousin who was very satisfied with her cataract surgery with Dr Kline and she highly spoke about him all the time constantly telling me not to delay the surgery! Finally I went back and saw Dr Kline for the second time in March (2026) and luckily this time I was encouraged and convinced by Dr Kline’s kind approach and calmness that helped me to get over my fear and after one year I was able to have my surgery in March (2026) and I’m happy that I did it and now I can see! Dr Kline is a professional that you can trust, he is knowledgeable, kind, and humble! I recommend Dr Kline to anyone who needs a good ophthalmologist and doctor! This week is the third week of my surgery and so far so good! Thanks to Dr Kline and his team!

I chose Dr. Kline for a second opinion on whether I needed cataract surgery, just in case. And my choice was based on the proximity to where I live and work, as well as the referrals on Dr. Kline's web site. And Dr. Kline did operate on my eye and the outcome was exactly what he told me it would be! I'm glad I went through the procedure - steady hands! Now I also like to commend them for getting a sharp prescription for my glasses - I got the kind of implant lens where it's not restorative, but slightly nearsighted. Now my prescription is much simpler. And the new lenses and frames are outstanding! Post surgery my eyesight was remarkably improved. But now with the new glasses the difference is even greater! So yes I recommend Dr. Daniel C Kline for eye surgery if you need it and for the precision in getting prescriptions.

I chose Dr Daniel Kline to remove a pterygium (a growth) from my eye. I could not be more pleased. His surgery center was in a beautiful location in Newport with a friendly and professional staff.
