Unfortunately this is the eye dr my insurance makes me use. They are notorious for not starting until 60-90 minutes after your appointment time even if you're on time. This is why I stopped coming in 2011, but now I'm stuck here again. Doctors think their time is more important than ours. Disappointing visit... if I even get in to see a doctor today.

Have been going to Dr. Darin for well over 10 years and unfortunately, the last Two female doctors that were there have left. Today will be the last time I ever step foot in that office as I waited over an hour and a half and was never seen by the doctor and I walked out. This was one of the reasons we switched to the female doctors in the past because it always takes forever to be seen by him. The new office was very messy. Once they brought me into the back they sat me basically in a storage room in the back corner, which was so unprofessional.. The lack of respect for his clients time was definitely shown today.
I am supposed to have cataract surgery in May Today (Thursday)I got a infection in my eye got a quick referral called the office and they told me I had to wait until Monday.. My Concern is will that be the case after surgery should I have a issue. I am going to urgent care and hope for the best. Also the phone message said open till 5:30. No one answered from 4:45 on. I am seriously considering going to my insurance company and ask for another doctor. The person I spoke to was rude and transfer me to billing. I told her I had referral number in my hand but she didn't want to deal with me and then I was unable to get anyone on the phone.. again to book that Monday appointment. Nervous enough about any procedure on my eyes..The office staff is the first to have to deal with to get to the Doctor..Doctors were fine during appointments but this person is making me think.. Update The person must have been having a bad day..I was taken care of and pleased with the results
When I called a month ago, they stated they couldn’t make an appointment without my insurance card. I sent them my insurance card. Hear anything back a month later I show up for my appointment. The woman at the front desk says they don’t take my insurance and gives me an insane cost that it would take just to have my eyes exam And I just walked out horrible communication. What was the point of me sending you my insurance card a month ago Have me waste my time and come to the appointment to be told it’s gonna cost out-of-pocket because they don’t take my insurance Why did you need my insurance card when I set the appointment?
Another doctor whose policy is to hire the cheapest people he can. The receptionist is like a limp handshake. A month ago they called me to tell me my appointment was cancelled at 4PM the day before and the only day Dr Darren is in the office is Monday. Well that's not true. My wife was there last Thursday. So why to doctor's employees lie? Better ask the doctor since his name is on the door. I show up today and after a cold greeting by the receptionist - not a "hi" or a "welcome" or "may (not can) I help you", or even a "Bob's your Uncle" - 20 minutes later she calls me and tells me she needs $49 for a refraction. I asked her what that was and she didn't know. (great training!) I told her last time I was there - just a year ago I -paid nothing and that I'm diabetic. ONLY GO HERE IF YOU CAN FIND SOMEWHERE THAT REALLY WANTS YOUR BUSINESS
