Came back for a second pair — this time sunglasses. The staff remembered me and helped me pick out a stylish pair with excellent lenses. The fit is perfect, the quality is top notch, and they look great. Super friendly service and fast turnaround as always. Definitely coming back

Zero stars if that were an option. I scheduled a routine eye exam through Zocdoc and called ahead to confirm that my insurance was accepted. I was told everything was fine and to come in. After commuting and waiting, I was turned away without being seen because the staff then said they do not accept my insurance and that I had been given incorrect information. If a clinic sees an upcoming appointment and knows the patient’s insurance is not accepted, the professional thing to do is to notify the patient in advance. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Don't recommend this place. And to whoever is going to a routine checkup, double or triple check with that place that they take your insurance.
Sales associate misinformed me about the money I’d be receiving from the rebate. I was told $250 yet when filing (in store) it was for $100. The manager told me she’d be in contact with me yet never reached out. I called back the following Thursday and told again I’d receive a follow up. Still no call, money nor e-mail. I called today and the same manager told me the sales associate made the mistake because she was looking at last year’s numbers, so she’s not responsible; to get the money from the associate. Since I don’t condone thievery, violence, or harassment I’ll do no such thing. She said she was sorry and offered me more contacts yet I just bought a year’s supply. Not only can my vision change I’m not sure how long lenses can be preserved for. So I said I have a year’s worth already, I don’t need more lenses. You recognize that your associate made a mistake so why am I being penalized? Things got even better here. She told me to create another email in order to commit fraud against the contact provider. I told her to and her response was that I was unreasonable. At that point I lost all respect for her so I said she was a disgrace and issued a curse.
My previous review got deleted so rewriting it in hopes it stays up because people need to be warned. This place files fraudulent claims and steals your benefits. Look at how many other reviews mention the same thing. My benefits were fraudulently used by Michael’s Eye Care. I have never step foot in this place and somehow they used my insurance to file a claim to use my eye exam, contact lens fitting, and contacts. However, I did go to Woodside Vision on the same day this fraudulent claim was filed. These two establishments are linked by the same eye doctor. I had an appointment at Woodside Vision, but was turned away from being seen there because my benefits were not active per the “helpful” employee that works there. I called my insurance and was told that my benefits were active and all were available. The next day my insurance had a claim filed saying I was seen, but at Michael’s Eye Care. Trying to get this claim reversed was hell. Woodside Vision had told me they could easily reverse the claim, but then did nothing to help. No one at Michael’s Eye Care helped and the person who pretended they wanted to help me at Woodside Vision just gave me the runaround in hopes I would leave it alone. They steal, cheat, and lie. They screen your calls and also screen your insurance’s calls. They’ll give you every excuse in the book just to try to steal from you and get you to go away. In the end, my insurance was able to reverse the claim for me because there was a long paper trail. The other “glowing” reviews are fake and most likely friends of the people who work at these places. If you look, one of the most recent reviewers left reviews for both locations. Be aware and stay far away! If this gets taken down because the business owner reports it, I will just post it again. People need to be warned. Don’t take the chance.
The kindest doctor and staff.. they took me in without an appointment and took care of absolutely everything I needed.. also, make sure you order your contacts through them!! They price match to 1800contacts plus they give you a rebate in a form of a gift card!! So happy I found them.. will recommend to all my friends and only work with them from now on. The most professional eye care place I’ve been to..
