They were very nice, fast, and affordable Didn’t have to wait at all to see the optometrist. Fairly certain I actually saw the doctor a few minutes before my actual appointment time and was expecting to have to wait a while like I’ve had to for almost every other doctors appointment I’ve had. The optometrist and rest of staff were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Couldn’t come up with a complaint even if I tried very hard. Definitely will and would recommend them to anyone.

First time there. The staff was so nice and friendly! They actually looked up my vision insurance (unlike the last place I went to) and compared their discounts to my insurance to give me the lowest price! Loved the selection of glasses, and they were reasonably priced. Definitely will go back!

I would give a negative rating based on unethical patient concerns. Elderly woman ( my mom) was treated after providing dental insurance. The office never followed up with a bill via phone, email or mail. They chose to send her to collections without reaching out to patient or adult granddaughter. In addition, child ( great granddaughter) is also a patient. She has insurance, instead of billing insurance nor contacting the parent, they sent the child’s bill to collections without reaching out. All typical professional medical billing processes were skipped. When I called 7/15/2026 to discuss these egregious concerns with their practice, the staff could Not provide policies and only advised to contact collections. The family was never notified about appointments being canceled, either. Avoid this shady practice. We will be following up with other forums to warn others in hopes of avoiding this type of treatment. UPDATE: they have never reached out in any form, they have all contact information. Of course they responded with deniability and zero accountability. Now, we can add dishonesty to their practice, too!

The Drs. and staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Been going there for over 60 years and have never had a bad experience. I’m on my third Optometrist!! 🤭 🥰

Dekalb optometric associates Is an amazing place to receive eye care. I met with Dr. Halie Mascitti. I could not have met a nicer person. She was professional, friendly, thorough, and took great interest in the success of my eye care I was referred to Dekalb optometric associates by a friend and I'm so glad I went. From the front desk to the eye care associates and then meeting Dr. Halie, It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.
