The crew at Diston Optical is outstanding. Gary fit me in the perfect pair of glasses. What I thought looked good on me, he proved me wrong by showing me some other styles that fit my large head perfectly. Take my word, this crew knows what they are talking about with that perfect hometown feel. This is my go to eye care store from now on. They have a large and extensive collection that will suit the most particular buyer. This store has out done the big corporate eyeglass stores. Seriously, it is worth the time it takes to check them out. See you next year guys. Kudos to Diston Optical

I love distant optical gotta have shades. They are amazing. I get all my sunglasses And my progressive glasses from them I've been coming here for years. What a great staff Linda and Gary, such great people. I recommend them highly such a pleasure to deal with them 🏝️❤️😎

My grandma and Nonna have been running this buisness for 36 years and they’re doing an amazing job. I got my first glasses here and it was a great experience. The staff is super kind and like one big family. My grandma always gets the perfect frames from her shop for me and here and Nonna are the best. Love you ❤️

I have been shopping here for years and always recommend my friends and family to shop at Disston as well. Staff is beyond friendly and accommodating! Great selections and wide variety. 10 out of 10, one of St. Pete's best businesses. (And no I don't work nor am I being compensated for my review.)

One of my pair of Costa Del Mars were falling apart after 3 1/2 years of heavy use. After contacting them and setting up an account. I returned them for inspection $12. I was told to call a week later in a email and spoke to Tiffany. She told me since they were discontinued and had other problems that I had no idea about. They were going to replace them with a new upgraded pair of my choice for $13. She highly recommended I go to a local dealer to find a pair that I like first. I called Disston Optical right by my house and explained to Gary what I wanted to do. He was so nice and said we have the best selection in Pinellas. I went there this morning to try a few different styles on. They knew I was not going to be buying anything today and still treated me like I was their best customer. What a wonderful experience from both companies. — feeling happy.
