Wonderful experience! Dr. Ddamiano it's not only knowledgeable and professional, but she is kind and caring and fun! She takes your time making sure that she gets your prescription right. Plus, her selection of frames are beyond none. She was recommended to me by others who have gone to her practice so I had to give it a try. I highly recommend.
My mother came here for glasses and she told them that she wanted basic frames and basic lenses. They made her sign a contract before telling her the price and without any explanation, then charged her top tier rates for glasses she NEVER ordered or wanted. This is not ok and should not be standard practice. Please do not go here, especially if you’re someone who RECENTLY survived cancer treatments because if you look sick they will try to take advantage of you. Now she is out over $1000 and no, she can’t afford it due to her ridiculously expensive CANCER TREATMENTS. She tried calling to see why the price was so high and the girl couldn’t even explain the charges that were accrued which seems kinda odd since she is the one that does insurance billing… So thank you DOMIANO EYE CARE for ripping off my poor, sick mother. Your business practices make me sick. Also, looking at the reviews, I noticed the owner only responds to negative ones by humiliating them instead of helping them. Good business practices right there. ******UPDATE 7/1/2026****** The company asked me to remove this review because they dislike it, makes them look bad. However, when you deceive someone, you face consequences. This review is one of them. My mother paid for her glasses in full (over $1000) on June 8 because she was told she had to or they wouldn’t order them for her. She hasn’t received any update about her glasses, whether they’re ready, broken, or lost in the wind somewhere. If you want me to remove this review like you have asked so many times, then give my mother the glasses she already paid in full for. It seems that you are punishing her for my review which is extremely sad and a terrible business practice. Your website states it will take 7 to 14 days from the date of the appointment until the glasses are complete which is normal for most places, but it’s been almost a month and nothing has changed. When she calls, and she has a few times, to see what is going on, she’s told there’s an issue with the frames, but it’s never specific and she is never given a time frame as to when they will be done. If the frames are the problem and it is taking this long, give her ALL the money she paid you back to her and take the loss or change the frames at no cost to her and right the wrong it has caused. I’m sure you sent a claim to the insurance so you got paid and I know that it’s way more than you actually deserve, but my mother got nothing at all for the money she paid you and she still can’t see. I am not ok with that and I do not accept your answer of “something is wrong with the frames. Please tell your daughter to take down the review”. That is the only thing you are concerned about, people finding out the truth, that you have a shoddy practice that uses deceitful business tactics. Anyway, I am sure she waited long enough for any kind of response from your office, but apparently you and your staff only help people when they don’t need it or maybe you only help the people you know. It does not matter to me, my mother does though, she matters to me A WHOLE LOT. So if the glasses are not ready this week, refund all of her money. She can literally go anywhere else and get better care with a better deal. If this is an issue and you do not have the glasses or the refund, then my lawyer can help you find them, he is very helpful in that way. We are giving you until Friday (July 3) then I am calling my lawyer. The choice is yours.
I had a wonderful experience at Domiano Eye Care. Dr. Michele Domiano is very professional and kind. She made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Danielle was amazing in helping me choose new frames; she was patient, helpful, and very nice. I truly enjoyed my entire experience and would highly recommend this office.
Dr. Domiano is by far one of my favorite doctors! She is kind, personable and makes the appointment an enjoyable experience. Not only are you getting a fabulous doctor but her front desk staff at both locations are professional and have excellent customer service. Both the Clarks Summit and Old Forge locations are beautifully decorated and both have the most stylish frames to choose from! If you are looking for a new eye care specialist I highly recommend Domiano Eye Care!
Truly the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had with an eye doctor and picking out frames. The entire staff is incredibly sweet and helpful! They took everything into consideration and made the process a breeze! Dr Domiano is incredible during the exam, she is patient and most importantly she listens to any concerns & input you have. My prescription is perfect and the frames are high quality and stylish. Bonus the office smells incredible. I highly recommend Domiano Eye!
