Douglas Reynolds OD Santa Rosa

I saw Dr. Reynolds on April 15, 2026 at Gulf Coast Vision Center in Fort Walton Beach. He read my records and looked carefully at the pictures the tech had obtained from the office testing. He listened to my history and recommended a second visit for dilation and further photos to clarify an issue. He was very kind and thorough. The tech was also very kind and efficient with the eye exam machines. The office staff are also kind and provide excellent service as well.

I had a great experience at Gulf Coast Vision Center! Dr. Lock provided a very thorough and professional eye exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. Jaime was incredible and so patient while helping me choose frames — she really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my selection. I couldn’t be more pleased with my visit!

The glasses I ordered came in earlier than expected and was told which is better than not being notified when they arrived. (The latter happened elsewhere). Dr. Lock explained my vision to me better than anyone else has and Jamie lead me to frames that I love. First time tinted transition lens and am extremely satisfied with frames. No complaints. Great experience.

If I could give a ZERO, I would. STAY AWAY, THIS PLACE IS POOR QUALITY and plain old money grabbers They’ve messed up TWO, yes TWO of my prescriptions My husband’s tinting developed lines like it wasn’t on right, they fixed it and same problem occurred We have no insurance, so if they are poor quality to cash customers, imagine what they’re doing for those with insurance Dr Reynolds offered a 25% discount for me to get my new prescription. Big deal, after we spent a couple grand over 2-3 years They treated my dry eyes wrong, by giving a script when they were at their worst. I didn’t get diagnosed and treated correctly until I went elsewhere. Their staff is poorly trained to have so many issues pass through their desks. If it was one problem, I’d just move along. But it’s 4 times between the two of us, twice each to mess up with their cheap tinting and improper quality checks before glasses go out to the public. I’m on Davis Hwy and heck I can stop and have coffee and get glasses or countless other places that have to be better than this place.

Lauren helped me and she was so patient and freely willing to give her tasteful Input. What I found especially helpful was that she would explain the reason behind each of her opinions. What really made it nice was her energy and kindness even when I wanted to look at “just one more”. I also appreciate her willingness to enlist other perspectives; Jamie helped refine my options. And ultimately make decisions. their knowledge of the product, and customer service… While being authentic and fun to work with made this a wholly enjoyable experience, doing something I really don’t typically enjoy doing at all. I think I’m going to be very happy with my glasses!
