Dr. Chun is very personable and explained what was going on with my vision, and I was able to get an appointment on short notice. Excellent service and selection on frames, and also helped me get a discount on my contact lenses.
Awesome cozy clinic. Went in for an eye exam and contact lens fitting. The staff was quick with check-in and was seen promptly. Doctor was very thorough, friendly, and patient. It did not feel rushed at all. Definitely recommend and will be back for yearly exams here.
My son and I had routine eye exams by Dr. Chun last week, and we were exceptionally pleased with the experience. Not only did he perform thorough, detailed exams, but he took the time to clearly answer questions and address our concerns. Not once did we feel rushed, and I left with the impression that Jonathan Chun is someone who truly enjoys his profession. Downtown Vision is a small family-owned and operated business that goes out of its way to provide excellent and affordable vision care service. The office is spotless, organized, and nicely decorated. They also have a very cute Totoro display! Dr. Chun's wife Mia is the receptionist and office manager, and she is delightful. Despite being downtown, their office is easy to get to, and they validate parking in their building's garage which is super convenient. I recently turned 72, so I've had many opportunities to visit doctors of various specialties over the years. My exam with Dr. Chun was not only the best optometry appointment I've ever had, but also the best medical appointment I've ever had. Bottom line, Jonathan Chun sets the bar for anyone who has an OD after their name.
I somehow screwed up and bent my new glasses. If bending them was easy, getting them fixed here was easy as well. By the time I had finished texting my parents and telling them I was getting my glasses fixed, boom they were fixed. Good as new 🎉🎉
I broke my glasses on my way to my exciting Hawaii vacation. Jonathan was so helpful breaking down my realistic options. He helped me find a new pair of frames to replace my broken ones. He took great care to ensure a proper fit and did a quick and excellent job. I couldn’t be happier with the service!
