Has been my eye doctor for years. Great office staff. Doctor has addressed and corrected my vision issues. Helped a co-worker get a referral to fix his vision problem ( needed surgery).
I had a very pleasant appointment for my son and I. We got straight in back and the doctor gave my son very good advice and felt family oriented. The front desk workers were smiling and made us as well feel at home. If they were hiring for reception I definitely would leave my job to work here! It was clean and comfy out front and with someone like me and having anxiety really bad I had none in this office! I appreciate them and the doctor!!! ❤️❤️
Horrible customer service. You wait an extremely long time to even see the doctor. They refuse to give out full prescription for glasses to order online. Money hungry for you to buy their cheap glasses that break easily. The doctor himself is very nice. Rude receptionist. I understand they're trying to stay in business with selling in house glasses but not everyone can afford $100+ pair of glasses for their children every 6 months. My contacts cost a whole extra $100 to just order from them. 1800 contacts charges way less for the same brand. A shame!!!
If you simply want the very best, Dr McVey at Downtown Vision Center in Lorain is my all time favorite!! As an Airline Captain there obviously is no room for compromise or error in my vision wear! Book your appoint now for the very best in the business.
I Felt like I was in a free clinic . It was so dull , boring and an old library smell. Not one worker there including the dr did not smile not one time! The last only let me Choose out of 5 pairs of glasses. They did not let me have the option to shave my lenses down ( I have very bad vision therefore my lenses are very thick) . I said I’ll pay for it if my insurance didn’t cover it they said that’s not an option. The dr was very rude that it was my daughters first exam. She is 9 years old and never complained about her eyes. He made rude comments of how bad my vision is. The front desk workers were very rude! I will never step foot in there again. It felt “free” . Very disgusted with this place!!!
