My granddaughter recently visited Clear Vision in Newark, NJ, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The office did not appear as clean or well-maintained as expected, there were many areas with satin dust which was concerning. We also experienced an extended wait time of nearly two hours. After the visit, we felt the examination was not as thorough as we had anticipated, and we were disappointed that the examination results and measurements were not provided upon request. In addition, some staff interactions came across as unprofessional and lacking in courtesy. We always try to support local businesses and medical offices, but based on our experience, we would not return or recommend this location to family and friends. We hope improvements are made in cleanliness, communication, and customer service. EDIT: I am editing because the owner is always making excuses to all her replies. If you notice all the reviews are stating the same exact thing rude staff members and a dirty place! Doing “construction “ or “remodeling” doesn’t give the right to have a place that’s dirty and dusty with Set in dust. Clearly they don’t clean, but they want to make excuses on their replies. I will stick to my original review. I do not recommend this place nor will I ever return they should be investigated

Found myself in need of glasses not too long ago and was met with a quick consultation and overall wonderful experience at Clear Vision. Making an appointment was quick and easy and the whole team is always ready to help make your experience easier. The Doctor was great at answering any of my questions, even after my visit. Kassandra and Sonia were nothing but amazing leading up to my visit and helping search for my new pair! 10/10 recommend and glad to call this my new home for anything eye care related 😌

I've been a loyal customer of Clear Vision for over 10 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. This wonderful optical practice is family-owned by a mother and her two children, and they truly make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another patient. Their customer service is exceptional, and they offer an incredible selection of eyeglass frames for both men and women—there's something for everyone. The recent renovations and updates to the office look amazing and make the experience even better. As with any highly recommended medical practice, you can expect some wait time, but it's absolutely worth it. If you're looking for outstanding customer service, quality eyewear, and a fast turnaround on your glasses, I highly recommend Clear Vision. They've earned my trust for the past 10 years, and they'll continue to have my business for many more.

Honestly, a completely unacceptable experience. I waited more than 2 hours for an "exam" that lasted just 5 minutes. They are unorganized and the patients' time clearly doesn't matter to them. But the most unpleasant thing was the state of the place: dirt, dust accumulated everywhere and the disgusting floor. We are talking about a place related to visual health, where there should be at least a minimum of hygiene and professionalism. It's shameful that they serve people in those conditions. I definitely don't recommend it and I would never go back.😡😡😡👎🏻👎🏻

Terrible staff who cannot properly take an appointment and try to reschedule you for another appointment while stating you have to pay more. *In response to your blatant misrepresentation; I called and repeatedly stated I would like to schedule an appointment for my contact prescription and yet when I arrived for my appointment after waiting nearly 2 hours was informed there was no mention of this and that I would have to return for this once with my fitting. But please continue with the misrepresentation of the events the reviews are telling.
