I had my annual eye check-up with Dr. Marino this morning. They have exceptional safety precautions in place, which I appreciate. His exam was thorough and complete. He gives you his time, and expertise. The experience was quite pleasant and I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Marino!
I feel rather sad to write this review. My husband is a long time patient of Dr. Marino. I went for an eye exam today, because I need prescription glasses, and I don't have eye insurance. He did a very thorough job to check my eyes, I was very pleased with his attention to detail and meticulousness. I paid my eye check up fee. His secretary offered me some glasses and they gave me a prescription, and suggested some lenses and frames . The glass with frame would cost around $800, without insurance. I found a good alternative online that was $250, a big difference, but apart form the prescription , I also needed pupil distance , to get these, so I called them and went back to get the pupil distance measure. Then his secretary said, this is weird why do you need pupil distance measure? we only do it if you get glasses from us, she did it, but didn't tell me which one is for right and which one is for left eye and also was extremely rude. I was so upset on my way back, I almost got into an accident. This was very different from the experience I had earlier in the day. So my suggestion, unless you are planning to get glasses from there , don't go.
Dr. Marino is great. I am very happy I found him. Very friendly, attentive and times his time to answer all of your questions, you can tell he is a Dr. that truly cares about his patients. Great selection of eyewear! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
My first appt with Dr. Marino he did a very thorough exam and identified a rare eye tumor that had been there for many years. Due to his attention to detail I was able to have cancer treatments and saved my eye. Highly recommend Dr. Marino, will never go back to the national chain eye locations every again! Thanks Doc!
What an unbelievable boutique vision center. So refreshing and pleasant as compared with the big box stores. Fr. Marino is awesome. He takes time with his patients and uses the most updated technology and methods. Better yet, they accept most insurance plans. Love the Gardens Vision Boutique.
