PLEASE DON’T COME HERE IF YOU WANT PROPER EYECARE AND WANT TO AVOID BEING SCAMMED I used Dr. Roby for years as a convenient, trustworthy, and black-owned optometrist. However, after this experience, I was terribly wrong. I was told bifocals would cause problems and stress my eyes by previous eye reports, but I was still prescribed them. They told me to wait a few weeks for my eyes to adjust, but they never did. I got headaches and almost worsened my eyesight. When I attempt to return them , they told me to keep the glasses even though they weren’t helping the issue. I paid more than $400 for them, but they were unusable. Now, I’m forced to keep them after months of fighting to solve this issue because I lost money on something that’s clearly unusable. When I finally went back, Dr Roby himself knew about this problem and refused resolve the issue. My last straw was when I called about a reimbursement I should've received months ago for the issue, but Instead of giving me helpful advice, I was given hostile, rude replies while purposely being gaslit into thinking that "it was my fault" and that I was the problem. Service through the phone call was so bad that people around me were shocked that an eyeglass company would speak to you that careless and unprofessionally. I was treated as if I was the mistake although I only relied on PROFESSIONALS and their advice to improve my eyesight. Clearly, I was wrong about the "professional" label for them , and I’m now left with having to pay over $400 for frames that I can’t even see out of. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AND VISIT ANOTHER OPTOMETRIST IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY BENEFIT YOUR EYESIGHT.
