i’m in town visiting for just a week and unfortunately broke my glasses. i called bealls and asked them if they’d take a prescription from out of state that’s within the last year and they confirmed and told me to come in. when i got there, one of the sweetest ladies who works there helped me find my frames by showing me the ones she felt would look good on me. i ended up choosing one of the pairs she recommended. she taught me many things about my glasses that my regular eye doctor didn’t explain, and made me feel so welcomed. i left at 11:41am and received a call by 12:10pm that my glasses were ready! great experience and the glasses were very affordable, even without insurance they would be. plus with the year warranty, they advised i could send them back to get fixed despite living out of state if they ever break. wish i lived near them, i would keep them as my regular eye doctor. absolutely recommend!!

My glasses were broken in half and im sooo blind without them. The husband called 3 other eye places and none could get me in before may/june. Beall Optical was called next and they got me in same day, WITHIN THE HOUR. The receptionists, doctor and the lens crafter were ALL sooo nice and helpful with getting my glasses to me and appointment done same day. Will forever be using them for my stay in Valdosta

So I broke an arm off of my glasses and needed an appointment asp. I tried 3 other eye places and nobody wanted business so I found this place and they are amazing. I called and they had a full booking, but when I told them I had broken glasses and could not see to do my job they got me an appointment in 3 days. I went and they had a pretty good selection of glasses and contacts. The doctor and staff were extremely nice and even helped pick the best glasses for my face. Will be doing my business only here now for my eyes. Thank you for a great visit!

Out of all the years i have been going to this place i have never had a bad experience until today. Long story short, my prescription was too strong the first time so they re-did them the second time to a lower prescription that was still too strong. Glasses made me sick for two months. Finally told me to go to another Dr. to see if there was a different reading. Did that last week, brought in the prescription and it was basically the same from my 2022 glasses. I told them i could see better with my old glasses and wanted the same prescription in my new frames. Well, they said it was going to be a charge for this. Just why am i paying when it's not my fault? Went up there to discuss with the owner and he brushed me off so quickly. Thank God a nice receptionist (Shannon) spoke with me in a respectful manner. Even though I don't agree, she took the time to assist me. Thanks Bealls, but you don't have to worry about me ever again. Peace out

My daughter went in to have a prescription filled today July 15, 2022. Upon arrival she informed the optical representative that she has her own frame and would like her prescription installed. She was quoted $130 to complete the request. We paid the $130 with the expectation that the glasses would be ready for pickup within a few hours. To our surprise minutes before we were scheduled to pick up the completed glasses we were asked to buy new frames as the frames that were provided were not optical, however that was false. We asked for a refund since they could not provide the requested service. And was denied. We were advised to take the lenses to another provider to have the lenses cut to fit the glasses (which was contradictory, first they weren’t optical frames, now it’s the lenses won’t fit). In my opinion this unheard of. We should not have to go pay another fee to have lenses cut to fit. It is my understanding that this is what we were paying for. This also should have been communicated before we paid and left the facility. This place doesn’t even deserve a star. Also we want a refund!!!
