I had been avoiding going to the eye doctor for a few years, and they accepted me as a self-pay client. They have a special machine that means you don't have to get eye dilation drops (hell yea!), so I can actually return to work and do stuff the rest of the day on the computer or read. That is a HUGE plus. They were open on MLK day and conveniently located off Lamar. Dr. Dugas explained the purpose of each test rather than just doing the tests like they did at my eye doctor in Houston. He was also practical in how we wear contacts and glasses and allowed me to save about $300 on contacts by switching brands even after our session ended. You can also complete your forms online rather than getting there and filling out by hand as many offices require. Kudos to Dr. Dugas and this practice for making an eye appointment less of a full day costly hassle.
