Dr. Yang is very professional and bedside manner is outstanding 👏. She has wonderful staff! They make me feel extremely comfortable, lots of smiles and laughter. It's very nerve wrecking dealing with my situation, but there's a lot of reassurance when you are there!. I'm very fortunate, to have been referred to Dr. Yang and definitely refer others!. Dr Jean Yang is phenomenal! For years, my regular doctor was telling me that the problem with my swelling eye ball was related to a cyst in my eye. He referred me to someone else who looked at my eye and said you need to see Dr Yang! Dr Yang will figure this out. Dr Yang saw me, looked at the pictures I took of my eye. She had me get a full blood work up done which came back showing I had an auto immune disease. I went back when my eye flared up last week and she instilled fear in me with my eye condition and the positive auto immune test. Today I saw a rheumatologist who went over everything and ordered even more blood work to confirm his suspicions which were the same as Dr Yang's. Talking to the rheumatologist, he went over all these question and symptoms and low and behold, everything I've been dealing with for years, are related to this auto immune disease. The doctor I've been seeing for years never picked up on any of this! Dr Yang also went to bat to get my prescription covered that insurance kept denying (my insurance company is known to deny everything, so I know it's not easy). I wish I would have seen her sooner. Dr Yang for the win!
I had Feb2025 appt with refraction exam. Optician offered me to order glasses from him and I did not want to at that time. 3 months later, in early May 2025, I asked him to provide a quote for glasses. He said he would call me back with a quote, however, he didn't call. I had to call again later that month (on May 20th) and asked for a copy of prescription for glasses and noted that I waited for a quote. Again, he did not call. Surprised, I called on May27th (last week) and asked to talk to an optician again. This time he picked up a phone and gave me a quote (about 2 time higher, that average market price for a good quality glasses). I told him NOT to proceed with the order. He left his phone # and I said that I would only call if I decided to order glasses from him. Imagine my surprise, when I went to order glasses today from another place to find out, that he requested glasses authorization for me back in February 2025 (!) and placed an order for glasses! Why would optician order glasses on my behalf without my agreement to do this? I hope this gets resolved immediately. I have not had such bad experience with a provider in a very long time.
Dr. Yang is a skilled and caring professional. You can trust her. She takes the time to give you a thorough exam and she makes sure that her team provides you all the support you need. I have been her patient for many years and I recommend her!
Dr. Yang is an incredibly nice and professional doctor with an extremely welcoming staff behind her. No better Ophthalmologist around!
