my husband and I have used this place for years for eyeglasses and contact lenses, and have always had great service. This year, however, my husband who is a service connected disabled Vietnam veteran, was fitted with new eyeglasses and they were shipped here to save him another 100 mile round trip to get them. These were a part of a benefit of the VA., but they needed some adjustments, so he left a message there and dreaded the extra road trip. Another week, another phone message but no response. When l explained his dilemma to a clerk at this Walmart Eye Center, she urged him to bring them in for the necessary adjustments. They never charged him and even thanked him for hiis service. Would l recommend them to others? YES!!!

Had an appointment at 1 today they had me reschedule it for 10:45 came in and waited till they called me to the desk, they asked for my insurance card handed it to them and she said they don’t take it. I have WellPoint/medicaid and I called them before I ever scheduled the appointment and asked if they took it and they said they did and scheduled my appointment. Not only did they have me run around rescheduling my appointment they wasted an entire week of mine waiting for this appointment when I could’ve been told on the phone the day I scheduled it that they don’t take my insurance. How is right to tell someone you take their insurance and it also be on the website that you do and schedule them an appointment just to wait for them to show up to tell them otherwise?
The doctor is a very friendly people and always has a smile for you in all its a great place to have your eyes examined by a professional eye doctor
