I had an excellent experience with the team at Metropolitian Eyecare, MyEyeDr! When I first walked in I was greeted by Katelyn, who at the front desk is very sweet & welcoming. All I wanted to do was look around at the glasses to see if there were any I liked first. The staff let me look around without pressuring me to make an appointment. Ellis, the optican let me know if I had any questions she was there to assist me. When I told her the shape, the colors that I liked, & the type of glasses (rimless) and wow she sure went to work to help me find ones that I liked! Brooke, the manager was just as professional & thoughtful as you would want a person in customer service to be! Laurie Collett, OD the optometrist is the BEST! When taking the eye exam she didn't rush me & let me take my time so that I felt comfortable with how the exam went. When I finished, she went over with me what my eye prescription is, the concerns that she has, what her recommendations are of me going foward, & asked what questions I had. I didn't feel rushed & felt like I was valued. I would highly recommend them to co workers, friends, family, or anyone that needs eye care. Thanks, to all of them at the Manteno location. Heather J. Very impressed with the staff at Myeyedr. Formally Metropolitan Eye care in Manteno had an appointment Wednesday 2/25/2026. Hadn't been there since the change over. Was REALLY surprised on how great the staffing is. All different people except for Dr. Collette she's awesome. I recommend Myeyedr to anyone looking for a high class experience. From Katelyn to Brooke to Ellis. GREAT JOB.

Dr Laurie Colette is an amazing professional, one of the best I have ever met. She is also a great advisor when the time comes for eye surgeries. Her staff on the other hand is operating like a great team willing to work with you for all necessary needs. A great place to go for any eyes prescriptions and/or concerns.

Staff here is very friendly. Brooke taught me to put on contacts for the first time and helped me picked a good pair of sunglasses. Dr. Collett is sweet and was able to answer all my questions
