Dr. Lori Floyd is an amazing optometrist! I was looking to use contact lenses for the first time and she made the whole experience super easy. She was very knowledgeable about my different eye conditions and recommended contacts that would work well for me. Her support staff was super friendly and helpful as well. From helping me with my insurance to teaching me how to put in and take out the contacts for the first time, they were kind and supportive the whole time. I highly recommend Dr. Lori Floyd's office! 5 Stars 10/10

🚩⚠️RED FLAG WARNING!!⚠️ 🚩 This person has two separate yelp accounts!! 0/10 would not recommend. I went here for the first time a couple of years ago because she had good reviews. My first experience wasn’t great. Tried to give them a second chance today and it was TERRIBLE. There are a million optometrists out there, I would recommend finding someone else. Details below if you are interested. Dr. Floyd was nice enough and seemed knowledgeable, but felt like she was more interested in selling me things than actually checking my eyes. Then I asked for a contact prescription and she got annoyed because I “didn’t say anything when I booked the appointment.” Except…I put that I wore contacts in my paperwork and told her throughout the appointment that I wore them regularly. I asked to look at new frames and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come and let me touch any. The person who “helped” me wasn’t interested in spending any time with me and it felt like I was inconveniencing her. Every other place I have been they 1) let you look at/try on frames without someone there, 2) help try and find frames that might look nice on you, and 3) provide a mirror and help you select a good pair. None of that happened here. When I said I wasn’t sure I wanted to get new frames, they brought out this hidden box of the absolute ugliest and poorest quality frames I have ever seen in my life. The person “helping” me said “well, these are the discount ones if that’s what you need.” So judgmental…as if I wasn’t sure I wanted frames because I couldn’t afford them?! Then, when I got home, they had forgotten to give me my contact prescription so I had to go ALL the way back to get it. The whole time I felt like a burden on each person there, rather than a patient. Since then, I get regular “book an appointment” texts from her office. Annoying, but everyone does it. Today I went in for my appointment. When I got there, they told me they didn’t have me on the schedule. And Dr. Floyd wasn’t even working today! The receptionist said “do you know who you booked it with?” And I said “I don’t remember her name, but I can tell you when I called. I called on 6/13 at 9:30am.” She just looked at me. Then she said they didn’t have time for me on the schedule today. I said “you know, I didn’t have a great experience last time and now here we are.” And she just looked at me. So I told her to take me out of their system and not to text me anymore. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Didn’t apologize for the confusion, NO ATTEMPT whatsoever at service recovery, didn’t offer me the next available appointment or ANYTHING. NO attempt whatsoever to empathize that I spent my morning coming to their office and that their inefficiency caused the problem. Like I said, there are plenty of other places you can go - I would recommend pretty much any of them over this place.

I absolutely adore Dr. Floyd and her staff. They always get me in especially when it’s a last minute emergency even though they are booked. I feel like Dr Floyd is family. She is very attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Erica and Erik are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this office. love them all!
