Such a great eye care experience! The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, the process is quick and easy, and they offer a great selection of frames. I chose an everyday Gucci frame as well as maui Jim sunglasses and they were able to switch out my lenses on frames I already had. I always feel well taken care of here and would definitely recommend.

I love Davie Family Eye Care! I’ve been with them since I was in kindergarten and now I’m in graduate school. They have always been dedicated to giving me the best care for my eyesight and I wouldn’t trust any other practice for my prescriptions. They also taught me how to insert contact lenses recently and they were very patient with me during this experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their eye health and want a dedicated team to help them!
I am incredibly frustrated with how Davie Family Eye Care handled my spouse’s glasses order. Their optical shop heavily over-charged and over-engineered the lenses, completely ignoring the doctor’s own written recommendations. My spouse’s official prescription from Dr. Shah explicitly recommends Polycarbonate lens material. Despite this, the optician upgraded them to Trivex without explaining why, tacking on an extra $128.00 out-of-pocket copay. My spouse's distance prescription is 0.00 (completely flat), meaning standard or polycarbonate lenses would already be perfectly thin and light. Forcing an expensive Trivex upgrade on a flat prescription is entirely unnecessary. Furthermore, the doctor marked "Yes" for Photochromic (Transitions) lenses on the prescription layout. Instead of fulfilling what the doctor actually ordered, the optical department swapped it out for a completely different blue-light filter charge. Between pushing massive markups on "no substitution" progressive designs and sneaking in premium lens materials that directly contradict the doctor's explicit orders, my spouse ended up paying nearly $1,000 out of pocket just for lenses—frames weren't even included. Please watch your invoices very carefully here before handing over your credit card.
If you are looking for personalized care, where the experts really focus on your needs, I greatly recommend this office. Dora, the Optician, gave me excellent options that I didn’t even know about for my glasses. Very happy with her professionalism!
