Dr Tavel Family Eye Care

I had a really positive experience at a different location. However this clinic, the personal misspelled my last name on my prescription, resulting in a very long wait for replacement glasses. They are understaffed, when I finally went to pick up my prescription. The woman who helped me mashed my lenses in, bend the frames, didn’t adjust the glasses. Handed them back dirty. In addition to this there was a long wait in office, when they took another customer who walked in and sat down after me. They were passive aggressive. Kinda mean. And now my glasses don’t fit correctly and because they haven’t been adjusted the frames sit lopsided on my face after just picking them up. After dropping 500 dollars and up on a pair of lenses. I could not have had a more disappointing experience.

I had a very bad experience at this Dr. Tavel location. No one greets you or gives instructions when you first walk in for starters. All staff were rude, with the exception of Paige who helped me pick out my glasses lens and checked me out. But the most surprising thing was how rude and unprofessional Dr. Lisa Patterson was. With her being a doctor, I expected better customer service. Aside from her being rude she was also disrespectful and sarcastic when I asked simple questions anyone would want to know. She responded to my questions with an attitude as if I am supposed to know the medical terminology she was using. Overall this was a very degrading and negative experience.

The person at the front desk was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. I came in for my follow-up contact lens appointment after wearing my trial pair for a week as instructed by the doctor. Before I could even see the doctor, due to her poor attitude and lack of professionalism, I felt uncomfortable and had no choice but to leave — without being able to finalize my contact lens prescription, which was the whole purpose of my visit. This was a very frustrating experience, especially after already investing time and effort into the initial exam and trial period. I expected better customer service and I am extremely disappointed

Nice people. Decent service. I wasn’t overly impressed. The coating on my Dr. Tavel lenses always flakes off. I’ll go there for my exam, but I’ll likely get glasses somewhere else.

Great place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Big selection of frames including designer. They accept most insurances. I recommend this place to everyone
