We came to Eye Doctors of Lancaster from a recommendation from our neighbor. We were greeted by two very nice receptionists, Michele and Wendy. The office was easy to find and didn’t wait very long to take us back. I am glad we came here and we will make it our eye doctors.

What an amazing experience! I was referred to Eye Doctors of Lancaster by Eyeland Opticians due to vision issues. From the moment I checked in for my appointment, I was treated with kindness, respect and professionalism. Ryan was an amazing technician who explained every test and was very patient with me throughout the entire process. Dr. Donnelly explained exactly what was wrong and came up with a plan for the next few months and also the next steps if needed. I felt very confident with his diagnosis since he took the time to explain everything. Bonnie was great in explaining the treatment in greater detail and making sure I didn't have any additional questions prior to checking out. And Michele, with one L, made me laugh after a very stressful visit, helped me to easily set up my follow up appointment and also showed me how to test the heat on the eye compress. My experience with this organization couldn't have been any better. I would recommend Eye Doctors of Lancaster to anyone and everyone.

I'm a patient of Dr. Steven Donnelly @ Eye Doctors of Lancaster. I was told about this practice by other patients and their experiences with this group. I was also referred to this practice by my Eye Doctor. I had cataract surgery done in both eyes. This practice was outstanding from my initial visit with Doctor Steven Donnelly to the surgical unit and my post visits.

I was trying to make an appointment for my recently widowed mother, who has glaucoma and is now living with me. We had heard wonderful things about the glaucoma specialist, so I was very disappointed by our experience. The new “Clara” AI system made it impossible to speak with a real person. I was repeatedly redirected to other eye doctor offices, some not even in Lancaster, and could not get the assistance needed to schedule an appointment. While AI may be convenient in some situations, it should never replace personal contact when someone is trying to access medical care, especially for elderly patients with vision problems who may already struggle to navigate technology. I hope the practice reconsiders this system and provides patients with an easy way to speak with a real person. Healthcare should feel accessible and personal—not like navigating a frustrating automated maze.

Where do I begin?? After moving to a new area here in Lancaster, I was very nervous that I would find the right eye doctor, for me and my family. One that would take the time get to know me and my eyes and truly be the best of the best!! Well God is so good. He somehow connected me with Dr. Donnelly and what a blessing that was. I met with dr. Donnelly, he was so kind, patient and understanding. He knew I was extremely nervous about having surgery on my eyes, but he couldn’t do enough to make me feel more comfortable. I truly mean that! He speaks in such a calm voice that makes you feel comfortable. He explained everything down to the smallest detail and what would happen even after my surgery. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Donnelly. I would recommend him highly to everyone! I thank God that Dr. Donnelly and I connected. I can now SEE the world in a much more beautiful way! Thanks Dr. Donnelly and staff. You all are amazing!
