I was at Conestoga Eye for the first time. I had a great experience with Rachel the Technician, and Dr. Merdiuszew who performed my diabetic eye exam and my vision exam all in one visit. Dr. Merdiuszew was informative the whole way through the exam and was very patient with my questions about my developing cataracts. Both ladies presented personable, warm, and validating in their interactions with me. I'm so glad to have so easily found a great new doctor since my eye doctor from another agency retired. I'm looking forward to having my future annual visits at Conestoga Eye.

Dr M was very thorough and listened to my concerns. She discussed why she made her recommended treatment and next steps. She also did a follow up call a few days later which was much appreciated.
From the intake staff through my final visit with the doctor, the entire experience was handled professionally. I didn't catch the receptionist's name, but she was incredibly kind and helpful. Dakota completed my intake and had excellent bedside manner. Kiersten (I apologize if I've misspelled your name), the PA-C, broke down complex medical terminology and was patient with all of my questions. I hope I never have any further eye issues, but if I do, I'll gladly make the drive back.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this visit stood out. Everyone at Conestoga Eye Center was professional, kind, and clearly experienced. The doctor took the time to explain things and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I left feeling well taken care of and well informed!
We have been patient's with Dr. David Silbert long before he opened his own practice. Recently I missed 1 appointment for my daughter back in November and had to reschedule it. I get no phone calls, text or appointment reminders from his office. I rescheduled in January but due to unexplained health issues I had to cancel the appointment. I told them we would just wait for her annual appointment for June to reschedule. Both of my daughters are always due in June for their annual eye exam. No one bothers to call me to schedule them. I called today to find out that my youngest daughter has been discharged from this practice without no calls from their office. Instead they claim they mailed me a letter which I never received. I'm not allowed to talk to the doctor apparently only to his office manager who is the one who discharged my daughter out of his care. Dr. Silbert has been our family eye doctor for all of my children since they were very young. Never in my life have we ever been discharged from his practice. We are going to miss him and I am going to miss speaking with him in the brief conversation I get to have with him. After surviving a SCAD heart attack in 2019 I had to go through a lot of medical stuff and lots of surgeries. Recently I started suffering severe dehydration and spent months in and out the ER since September 2025 only to learn just recently I was suffering from severe acute pancreatitis. I'm finally on the mend when I went to call Dr. Silberts office to schedule my daughter's because I never heard from their office to only learn that my youngest daughter was discharged from their practice. I'm giving 1 star review because this was totally disrespectful to my family to discharge my daughter out of their care without picking up the phone. Dr. Silbert maybe a wonderful and amazing doctor but his office staff is completely and utterly unprofessional. So I get a response that there's more to this story without an explanation. So they keep one of my daughters as an existing patient and discharged her younger sister. We cancelled the appointment in January within the practices policy. I have always paid my bills and never gave this practice a hard time. I have never had an outstanding bill with this office. Did you discharge my youngest daughter because Dr. Silbert misdiagnosed my youngest daughter to begin with? My youngest daughter was examined by Dr. Silbert before she entered school and she struggled with learning how to read and write all because she suffered from a severe vision impairment. Had her vision problem would have been caught when she was younger she wouldn't have had suffered in school. She is now a year academically behind because of it.
