Dr. Hoffman performed my Lasik corrective surgery in his Eugene facility and while the left eye recovered in a few days, my dominant right eye experienced challenges that required additional work. I've seen the criticism concerning bed side manner, but he's actually got a dry sense of humor, and, most importantly he is exceedingly competent. He has deep experience with eyes and knows they can take time to heal. After four months, my eyes have hit the goal of 20/15 each. There were times when that was in question for me, but Dr. Hoffman had no doubts. When it comes to something as important and as sensitive as the eye, you need someone as competent and experienced as Dr. Hoffman. His staff are uniformly well trained and pleasant people.
