This was my second appointment since being a patient. I originally went to the Austin location, because that was the only location. But this location opened in April 2026 and since I live in Georgetown it is very convenient for me. I highly recommend them because they changed my life! I first started with a stye/eye infection June 2025, and had one every month until March 2026. I went to five or six doctor’s, and two times to an optometrist before he recommended the Dry Eye Texas in Austin. The staff is terrific, very personable, very knowledgeable, and they know all of the latest technology and treatments available for chronic dry eye. I never had this issue, but now that I am 66 years old I was told the eyes make less oil as you age. I was at my wit’s end of trying to figure out why I couldn’t get rid of the infections. I am a very clean person, and take care of my hygiene, but this was due to the oil glands getting blocked in my eyelids, and bacteria building up inside. Also found out certain eye makeup makes it worse, and they gave me two brands developed by an optometrist. No more waterproof eye makeup. I have prescription eye drops that help with dry eye, and washing morning and night with some approved foam eye wash. So my six month follow-up shows improvement, and I haven’t had an eye infection since March 2026. Thank you for your help, and getting my eyes clear in over a year.

This was my second appointment since December 2025, after several doctor’s appointments, and optometrist appointments. One of the optometrist recommended them to me. I started at the Austin office first, and now they have a Georgetown office on Monday’s. First let me say I highly recommend them for any dry eye problems. I started with a stye/eye infection in June 2025, and had a stye/eye infection every month through March 2026 except for February 2026. I was amazed the technology they have now to diagnose dry eye disease, and other issues of the eye. I have always been a clean person, and always taken care of my hygiene/ and health. But now there are treatments to help tackle the problems. The staff, and doctor’s are very professional, and extremely knowledgeable about dry eye problems and treatments available now. You will not be disappointed if you make an appointment. I am now on a six month checkup to keep my treatments going to treat, and hopefully manage my chronic dry eye. Thank you for everything!!! I am very pleased to have major improvement with the monthly stye/eye infections.
I’ve been a patient here for about 2 years and they’ve helped my dry eye tremendously! Both docs, Dr. Lucy Ton and Dr. Jean Mengoli, are fantastic. Gabby, Maddy, and Rachel are also very professional and kind. They do a very thorough initial exam to customize a treatment plan for your specific needs. My dryness has improved so much that now I just need maintenance IPL/RF treatments. You do need to follow through with the protocol to see results, but I am very happy with my experience and would highly recommend this practice.
Excellent doctors. I had a lot of questions and they were thorough and patient. They also have a great staff who respond quickly, are professional, and made you feel welcome. They also have organic tea!
Everyone here I engaged with was exceptional, especially Maddy and Dr. Ton. Extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, capable, professional, thoughtful and took their time to explain everything. Would (and have) highly recommend this place for anyone dealing with dry eye: Dr. Ton is the best.
