The tech was very pleasant, careful and informative. Dr. Mahboobi was great as always. She answered my questions and let me know what was happening with my glaucoma. My only suggestion is that there was staff out today so I was taken back about a half hour after my appointment time. I understand that sometimes happens but I would have liked to have been informed of that when I arrived for my appointment.

Everything about the appointment went smoothly from making the appointment to filling out the forms electronically ahead of time to check in to the wait time to seeing the doctor. dr. Bluerose was lovely to me, knowledgeable, personable, and funny. He was reassuring and gave great advice during the consultation.
Excellent. Staff was efficient and friendly. The Optometry staff was friendly, efficient and very professional. As always, Dr. Boutros was his normal, low key, quiet self as he strutted into the room with an air of, “I am here, Mr. McWatters. How are you doing.” I said, Fine, Doc.” He scanned all the patient confusing data on his screen, spun around in his doctors thorn, and said, “Looking good. Are you taking your eye drops? Do you need a refill? How’s the family? How are the Cubs doing?” Well, he didn’t ask about my Cubbies but the guy is super knowledgeable and friendly and it is no wonder that his patients, sometimes travel vast distances to keep their appointments. One time, I chatted with another patient in the waiting room (Always a busy place but so darned efficientthat we in the military would give them our highest ranking - (A+). Dr. Boutros is an awe-inspiring Opthamologist who is deserving of the Gonin Medal. I officially recommend him for this award. David McWatters. USMC (Ret.}
Dr Butera is so amazing! It had been quite a few years since we had been in. She still remembered our family. She is personable, efficient and wonderful with children! My daughter can be resistant at any doctor's appointment because she doesn't fully understand what is going on. Dr Butera makes it seem easy as she gets my daughter to actually enjoy her appointment.
Dr and staff are great! Boutros is an exceptional Dr. He’s very knowledgeable and is up on the latest developments but doesn’t try to “upsell” you on anything. I’ve been going there for over 30 years. He did my wife’s cataracts and several of our neighbors as well. He’s doing mine soon. Only reason for not awarding 5 stars is the new web-based patient portal leaves something to be desired.
