I went for my annual today! It was what’s to be expected: typical office visits during and post Covid. My issue is why was I told my lab responsibility is $250 of an almost $1800 lab order?? Lab work is typically covered fully by my insurance! I’ve had the same insurance for almost 27 years! Plan hasn’t changed. I see request on the lab order for things I’ve never seen before:chem test 14, malb, Rand w/cr, vzr bg ab, Rpr(DX) Refl ftc, service code 0003259( no description), and uric acid? What are you looking for? And why is Rubella Immune, Measles ab lgg Eia, Mumps Virus Igg. Eiz, and Hep C AB W/Rel HCV on the lab request?? Are these vaccines shots I didn’t agree to? Are you checking to see if I have these illnesses? If so why? This is truly egregious and wasteful billing! I shouldn’t be shocked as I see this type of billing on a daily basis as my job is to cut cost for the payers and ultimately the patient! Never thought I would be the actual patient being impacted! Unbelievable…

The worst I will be looking for another office for myself and family they have lost focus and no sense of urgency and respect. You have to go in circles to see a doctor no one works pediatric as well like what kind of nonsense is this. And this is paid service. Nothing g how it use to be i feel bad because I love my childs pediatric doctor. But I will have to look somewhere else for better service and care
This has to be the worst location EVER The check in on the first floor is way too long for there to be THREE people at the desk. Then you come upstairs which happens to be the sixth floor and the wait time is RIDICULOUS. I get my pressure and weight checked at 1 :59 which is great for a two o’clock appointment. The issue is, it’s currently 2 :51 and I have not seen the doctor YET. I NEVER had this problem at 546 Eastern Parkway. I guess I will be looking for a new doctor at that location.
I’m only leaving 1 star because i have to put something, the HEMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT is unprofessional. According to the staff the automated system is AI and not accurate on appointments. They texted me saying noon and the staff said it was for 11 and could not see her. What an inconvenience when you make accommodations.
DO NOT COME HERE! If I could give zero stars I would. Im filling a complaint with NYS office of professional medical conduct and NYS department of health. They won’t tell you if and when something they prescribed is out of your insurance, terrible patient scheduling and care and they will hang up on you mid call to avoid doing their job. Since they want to make my time hell, I’ll be giving it back to them and making their careers hell. I have no problem being the one that gets an investigation rolling on this hellhole.
