I’ve relied on Dr. Marsico for many years to take care of my eyes. He’s very calm, thoughtful, and logical in his approach. He’s a pleasure to deal with on a personal level. All of his procedures have worked out very well for me. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
I haven't been to the Torrance location in years, but one of the receptionists did recognize me with a pleasant greeting, which was a lovely surprise. This location has definitely expanded, with the potics/eye glasses section located two doors down from the main office. The technicians were all polite and efficient. Dr. Sato is nice and personable; she does answer all my questions. (I also saw Dr. Nassiri while Dr. Sato was on maternity leave. He was quite a knowledgeable doctor and did a excellent job filling in for Dr. Sato.)
The East West Eye Institute was a five star experience for me. Even though their system was down when I arrived, they managed their customers well and kept things moving. Excellent front desk communication. The young woman that did my pre-appointment test was great and efficient. To my delight I was booked with Doctor Yu. He was very helpful, kind, offered important information and guidance. Ask if I had any questions. I will be back.

I love this location, however the entire process from checking In at the desk to finally seeing the Optometrist is entirely too long of a wait, (two hours) and my appointment was at 3p. I finally got to the back in a chair around 445p and waited again on the doctor to come to my room a little after 5p. Something needs to be done about this process. Thank you. ☹️.
