Eastern Eye Associates Optometrists

I was fortunate that Dr. Meadows and eastern eye Associates were willing to see me the other day for a relatively urgent Eye problem. I am in Virginia for only half of the time and he was willing to see me even though I was not a patient of his. His exam and explanations were thorough and understandable. I was very comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. I would recommend this practice to anyone. His staff was also kind and competent.

Woke up with cloudy and blurry vision in one eye on a Saturday after a intense headache. Wonderfully surprised to be able to speak and see an eye doctor that weekend. Have always recieved wonderful indepth eye care with Eastern Eyecare and it is wonderful to know that even after hours you can get expert advise and guidance from doctors that know your history

First time visiting Eastern Eye care for appointments for my husband and myself. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional with our care. The Doctor explained everything. Look forward to seeing them for our visit next year.

The doctor Is amazing. Very friendly, I’ve always had a great experience. Front office management is not. I was treated poorly and refused my prescription over $10 that I was being allowed to call in and pay by the receptionist- I left my wallet at home. When I canceled mine and my child’s future appointments, she laughed, shook her head and said “just give her the prescription.” All over $10. I still canceled our appointments and we will never be back.

Office has lots of fragrance from plug-in type devices that caused a severe asthma attack. I was told someone earlier the same day had a similar reaction. The eye doctor came in the room with my asthma attack progressing and started her exam by telling me “I am probably not a good fit for their office”. So I am being released as a pt after numerous years because of the toxic chemicals in the air- zero empathy or concern for the active breathing difficulties I was having. We are most certainly not a good fit!
