Not recommended, there are much better doctor out there who are more professional.

Dr. Dumlao is really good and very thorough during the eye exam! He’s professional and explains everything in detail and he knows what he is doing! Office is clean ! Nellie the front desk is friendly! Highly recommended!

I've been going to Dumlao's for years and really like the Dr. Dumlao who is very professional and friendly. I am a member of Kaiser and get my eyes tested there too and they are unfriendly, cold and comparing their results on my eye test are different from Dumlao's so I go with his test results.

One of the best optometrist in the city! Have been to many others in SF. None where as friendly nor relatable. He is not pretentious and seems to genuinely care. Yes. I myself guilty of being elitist at times ($1,600 optics) Get past the way the area looks and give him your business!
