Dr. Kaplan is by far the best Eye Doctor I have ever had! Highly, highly recommended. He is extremely knowledgeable, informative, and kind. After years of disappointment, I've finally found the perfect eye doctor!!
I have been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Kaplan for at least two decades. He is very competent and thorough and patient. I wear GP Hard contact lenses and he is a master at getting the fit right. I have confidence in and much appreciate his in depth examinations. And, he’s a good soul!
Dr Kaplan botched my eyeglass lens prescription twice. Now it would cost me $460 to get new lenses with which I can see. Dr Kaplan harshly stated he is not willing to help me out with the further expense. Basically I’m out $460 because of two mistakes in a row. Avoid. Also the experience was not so pleasant to begin with.
The Best I've ever dealt with!!! I found out about Dr Kaplan on a trip back to Cali and I was brought to tears after my appointment because in my 30 years of life he was the only Dr able to really assist with my amblyopia. I had really been struggling with my lazy eye and he was able to prescribe a stronger prescription to balance my eyes unlike all the other Drs who literally would just say forget about the lazy eye and just leave it alone. He listened to my concerns and we were able to find a resolution. I only wish I was still living in California to have care for my eyes long term.
Excellent. If you, as I, have tired of the rude pushy high rent high volume vision warehouses, you will be certain to like Dr. Eliot Kaplan, O. D. A perfectionist who respects the needs of his patients, Dr. Kaplan made long distance dark glasses, clear distance glasses with blue supression coating (so that I can actually enjoy driving at night), and computer glasses with orange definition enhancing coating so that I can watch my computers hours per day. Of course, you will wait for the glasses, because perfection will require about a week.
