I’ve been going to this practice for almost five years for routine glasses and contacts exams. The doctors are thoughtful and take the time to explain different options or issues they may see. Unfortunately, the admin side of the practice is a different story. It’s difficult to get a hold of anyone when you call and voicemails and emails are rarely returned. And over the last two years, it has taken them over 3 months to properly submit the paperwork to my insurance for medically necessary contacts (which were ultimately approved last year after hours of follow up by me with them to get the right paperwork submitted). In short: good doctors but the admin side could use a lot of improvement

I don’t like to make bad reviews on medical offices. We were here for 2 hours and half. The assistants were terrible at assisting with terrible attitudes. They wanted my elderly mother to choose glasses from a kid section lol ! Then to make the lenses thinner it was going to be an extra 300$. I was glad I overheard this from a distance and get her out of the office asap. If you can avoid this office you should. There are stains all over the floor. This isn’t a bouji office so I won’t know why they act like it is .
First the store is very difficult for wheelchair entry. My daughters staff had to recruit a very nice customer to help lift the chair in. Then if you don't have good insurance the choices for glasses are Extremely limited and later finding out Extremely cheap. As in poorly made. Soon after purchase, a few weeks, I went to clean the lenses and they broke. No pressure, no twisting, just cracked. Their "guarantee" costs 25.00 to replace the garbage glasses. We asked to be notified when the glasses arrived which they claimed would be 7 to 10 business days. Over 2 weeks later we called and to our surprise they were in. We asked why we weren't notified and they lied and said they texted us a week earlier. We disputed that and then they said we must have opted out of notification ????? Yeah ok we didn't want to know when they arrived. Judging by other reviews this business should be avoided Go to Costco. They had other glasses in 6 days AND called us.
Had an appointment for my 12 month old with Dr Day. While she was fabulous with my son and super knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations, she gave unsolicited advice on my son’s speech development that had nothing to do with the development of his eyes/vision. She insinuated that our pediatrician was not up to date on her stuff after I told her that we, and more importantly our pediatrician, were not concerned with his speech development thus far. So while I thought Dr Day did her job well, her additional comments were not appreciated and would make me reconsider coming back.
I want to preface by saying the providers were all nice, and the optometrist was great, but I’m a bougie girl and this place was dingy. The carpet was stained, the equipment was worn, the waiting room was just 3 cheap chairs, they had me take my contacts out in a room that was really messy. There seem to be papers and just kind of junk everywhere. So aesthetically, it was not the place for me.
