I've been a loyal customer of this Walmart Vision Center for five years, and until now I've always been happy with the optometrist, the staff, and the products. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been a real disappointment. I ordered a pair of glasses specifically for computer use and reading. When I picked them up, they had been made with the graduation for my night driving glasses instead — completely wrong for what I needed. The store had them redone, and when I picked up the second pair, I checked them in-store and was able to read just fine. It wasn't until I sat down at my computer at home that I realized the second pair still wasn't right for screen use. Between work and other commitments, it took me a few months before I was able to get back to the store to raise the issue. When I finally did, I was told it was too late to do anything about it. I understand the delay didn't help my case, but the underlying problem started with their error, not mine, and I was never able to get a pair of glasses that actually worked for what I ordered them for. As a result, I'm currently stuck wearing an old, scratched and scuffed pair of glasses because the new ones I paid for are unusable. After five years of good experiences here, this has left me frustrated and out the cost of glasses I can't use. I hope this gets addressed, because the staff and exams here have otherwise been excellent.

Excellent attention and care from the intake person on phone and Dr M. Petersen was incredibly caring to my 89 year old father who was in severe pain. Explained very clearly and made sure we had the right items from the pharmacy in our hand before we left. Thank you

I have never in my life dealt with the worst customer service that I have with Walmart in The last 5 years. Any walmart. I travel throughout the United States frequently and I have visited many. I have to tell you I absolutely hate Walmart's customer service. I purchased a pair of glasses in December less than 4 months ago. I also added the anti-glare protection to them. I paid almost $300 for a set of lenses not frames just lenses and the exam and got crap glasses. I only use the lens cleaners to clean them. Something is wrong with them there is something on them even the lady at Walmart vision center agreed with me but told me because there's only a 60-day warranty there's nothing they can do. I am so tired of these companies giving us crap warranties to suit their needs. Was told that they can't help me I cannot see out of them it took me three years to come up with the money to get another exam and get another set of lenses. I live on a fixed income. I don't understand the customer service here they tell you they're too busy to help you or they ignore you or when you ask them for something they don't know. For something is expensive as a set of glasses 60 day warranty is ridiculous. Yes there are some scratches that I cause I'm not talking about scratches I'm talking about whatever rainbow color keeps appearing over my glasses it causes you not to be able to see at night and if it's the anti glare coming off then they need to be fixed I tried to call Walmart's customer service hotline and I get freaking robots. I tried to do the chat and I get a freaking robot. I want a freaking human to take care of the situation but nobody will. I'll never visit Walmart again Walmart is done out of my life however I would still like my glasses to be fixed. For a multi-million-dollar company they can accommodate.

Went in for an eye exam and for new glasses. Also it’s been over ten years since I wore contacts last. The staff and optometrist were above friendly really helped me and was so patient while trying on my new contacts making sure I feel comfortable and happy. Kellee I think her name was Went above and beyond while helping me with my glasses even walked me in the back of the store to help me find the right eye drops. The best was the conversations. She loves animals and from Pittsburgh like me. First time at the port Orange Walmart eye center. I will be back from now on ❤️

Dr. Paterson is outstanding and really goes that extra mile to help. I recently had a vision emergency on the weekend and couldn't get in to see any opthamologist. She did an exam, confirmed the problem and went out of her way to get me into an opthamologist she knows who was on call. I got in that day and had laser treatment that treated the problem and prevented much worse problems. She was so caring and helped save my vision. I recommend her most highly. Always professional and always caring. Great doctor!! Her staff person Summer really went out of her way to help too. I appreciate them all here. They really care about their patients. And their prices on glasses are outstanding as well. All around a great place for vision exams and glasses and contacts.
