Went to this Walmart in Elk Grove where this potting mix was outside with a big sign as you can see, saying it was $9.97 - rollback and had the picture on the sign. Register rang up $11.97. Told an employee at self check, then a supervisor. Supervisor went to check and waited 15 minutes, all the while other Walmart employees asking us the problem. When she finally gets back, she said we had the wrong item for that price. I said we do not and the price is on the big display, however she had looked in the wrong place. I then had to go out with another supervisor and show her the big display. She had talked to the Mgr. that went by in a motorized cart who was telling her no to changing the price. Finally, the employee saw the sign and changed the price. Seriously, deceptive pricing at Walmart, Beware!!

I visited this Walmart to buy the Athletic Works Waist Trainer Back Brace, listed online for $19.94. The store price was $20.58, so I asked for assistance.The department associate was visibly annoyed and dismissed me without even attempting to help. The cashier refused to honor the online price despite seeing it on the Walmart app. At Customer Service, the representative was on her phone having a personal conversation and only reluctantly stopped when I waited in silence. She also refused to match the price.Not one employee showed basic courtesy or willingness to assist. This was my first visit to this location, and the lack of professionalism from multiple employees was shocking. I strongly urge store management to review staff training and customer service standards. A simple price discrepancy should never escalate into a chain of employees acting inconvenienced by a customer. I was calm and paitient with all the employees. This behavior is unacceptable, especially when the price diference was so low and i showed all of them the online price from my phones official walmart app.

After I drop my son off school in the mornings, I shop here weekly sometimes even twice a week. Everytime I use self check out, the ladies will make me super uncomfortable like I'm a theif. I understand that they are doing their job but they need to CHILL. I will have one indian lady watch me like a hawk and I don't see her doing that with others. A blonde lady who stands by the door assumed I stole the cat food, she checked my receipt and it took her a while to even find it! I got things to do, I can't stand here all day while you assume I'm stealing. I know there's a theft problem but it ISN'T ME. I have spent months with out any work, but I will never steal. Sometimes, it will look like I'm not going to pay for something, because I make multiple transactions with different cards. It will take me a little while to check out, maybe thats why they think I'm stealing? I don't know, but it needs to stop. You can stilll do your job without making me feel like I'm a theif. Also, please, pay attention for when I scan the cat food next time.
