I was Dr. Duan's client in 2024. I found her again in 2026!! Such a relief. I was not impressed with the other business. Today I had a very thorough exam! Very happy being back. Lauren at the desk was pleasant and helpful. Kendall put together my new glasses order. He was friendly and very detail oriented. Dr. Duan really cares about her clients!
Dr. Jennifer Duan is an outstanding eyecare health provider - professional, thorough & friendly. She takes time to listen, answer questions & offer recommendations based on careful evaluations of your conditions & status. She was my provider at a previous corporate practice that closed its Ellicott City offices. I sought her out when she opened her own practice which is a tribute to her skill & professionalism. I had such a wonderful experience at Ellicott City Vision, and I truly can’t say enough about the care I received. ❤️I woke up one morning with severe eye pain and constant tearing and was honestly in a panic trying to find an optometrist nearby who could see me. I came across this practice, and I’m so grateful I did. From my very first phone call with Kendall and Lauren to walking through the doors and meeting their amazing team, I felt cared for. Kendall was incredibly understanding of my situation, genuinely empathized with what I was going through, and was able to fit me in to see Dr. Baran. Dr. Baran was absolutely wonderful. She was compassionate, listened carefully, and thoroughly examined my eyes. I was miserable and scared, and she immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. I truly feel that she saved my eyes and helped me when I needed it most. I had a follow-up appointment two days later, and once again, Kendall, Lauren, and Dr. Baran showed genuine concern for how I was doing. They made me feel like more than just a patient , they made me feel valued and cared for. I am so thankful I found this practice and will absolutely be sending my friends and family their way. Dr. Duan was very thorough with her exam! She explained things and took time with me. She is very intelligent and knowledgeable. The office staff were welcoming. The office is clean and has a new modern feel. I highly recommend this practice for all your eye care needs!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience today at Ellicott City Vision! Dr. Jennifer Duan is awesome! She is a great doctor and also a wonderful person. Her greatest attribute is that she takes the time to get to know her patients on a level that I have never seen before in a doctor.
