I have been seeing Dr. Fillinger since 2021. I have had nothing but the best service. I had foot pain that started in high school, which had to do with my bunion. I finally decided to get seen by Dr. Fillinger and he walked me through the whole process. The whole team did an amazing job informing me of the whole process and what to expect. I am extremely grateful I decided to go through with my bunionectomy. The recovery was much smoother than I expected. Don’t get me wrong, it was a hard recovery due to limited mobility, but completely worth it. Now, my foot feels amazing — the pain is completely gone, and I can comfortably again. I can finally wear the shoes I love! It’s such a relief to have my mobility back and I only wish I had done it sooner! Fast forward to 2024 and 2025 I had two back to back pregnancies. I was in need of inserts with a lift to help me out after the weight gain started to take a toll on my foot arches, hips and back. He listened to my concerns and knew exactly what I needed. We discussed simple inserts after my first pregnancy but once I had my second child we discussed custom inserts. I have been pain free again with my inserts as well as the help of my chiropractor. Dr. Fillinger is definitely the only one I would trust with any foot problems.

Dr. Fillinger and his staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone we interacted with from the receptionist, to the nurse, and especially Dr. Fillinger, was so nice! They answered all of our questions, really listened to our concerns, and made us feel very comfortable with my husband's upcoming procedure. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and it's staff!

Dr Fillinger is the absolute best! He is extremely knowledgeable and so very compassionate and he even prayed for me before my surgery. I had horrible pain with every step that was debilitating. Dr Fillinger had to do an extensive surgery detaching my Achilles tendon, removing a bone spur underneath and reattaching my Achilles tendon. He explained everything in great detail and especially emphasized how hard the long non weight bearing recovery would be and the importance of following the instructions. He and his staff were so supportive throughout my long recovery. It has been 7 years since my surgery and I walk normally without any pain. I highly recommend Dr Fillinger!

I am 100% pleased with my experience at Fillinger Foot Clinic. The staff and Dr. Fillinger are so kind and compassionate. Dr. Fillinger took all the time needed to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions and educate me on my upcoming surgery. I had the minimally invasive bunionectomy and hammer toe repair. I had no problems whatsoever and the recovery went just as expected. I am so happy with the results of my surgery and very thankful that we have such a knowledgeable and caring surgeon here in Cullman. I highly recommend Dr. Fillinger!!

After having chronic ankle issues and visiting multiple orthopedic doctors over the past 13 years, I finally visited Dr. Fillinger. He listened to me and read my MRI himself, disagreeing with the radiologist. I had surgery last August and wish I’d started with Dr. Fillinger 13 years ago. I no longer have pain, swelling or issues. The recovery was perfect. I was able to go to physical therapy and progress much faster than I’d anticipated. Dr. Fillinger and his team are the absolute best!
