I’ve had an incredibly positive experience with the team at Excellent Vision. Dr. Federico is exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about her patients. I’ve been going there for about three years, and they completely resolved my dry eye issues - something I struggled with for a long time. They also fitted me with contact lenses that I can actually put in and take out comfortably, which had always been a challenge for me. I’ve never experienced long wait times, and the entire office runs with an impressive level of efficiency while still making patients feel cared for and supported. I rarely leave reviews, but this team has consistently exceeded my expectations, and I’ve been truly impressed with the quality of care they provide.

Referred to this surgeon (Lassonde, R) by my optometrist. Bad move on my part. Full disclosure, this all my personal opinion. I found one person in this entire practice who did a good job. No names, but the intake person was fabulous. All others including Lassonde, R were of no value whatsoever. Front Desk. Just rude. Intake. Excellent as noted. Exams and examiners. Casually brusque, rarely introduce themselves by name. Surgeon. Rude, uncommunicative, hides behind his staff to avoid contact and communication. I was unable to query him about an issue that took place during my R eye cataract surgery. Results of first surgery. Very good. In my opinion I was damn lucky. Actually scheduled a second surgery (with some caution) and then saw something I’ve never seen a physician do before. Surgeon REQUIRES the patient be driven from the surgery center in Exeter to the office in Portsmouth for post op examination by a different physician immediately after surgery. The day of the surgery we had a freak snowstorm and my wife said she didn’t like the drive and could we go next day. When informed of this surgeon said he thought I was trouble from the start, and canceled the procedure. Extraordinary behavior. But it follows the business model of treating your patients like they are on an assembly line. I’m a retired airline pilot, and in my line of work people did what they were supposed to do, when they were supposed to do it, in the proper manner. Finally got my second eye done by a different surgeon in a different practice four days ago. Outcome just as good if not better. Completely different experience. All positive. Good luck
I was greeted with a smile at the front desk! I had to have a test done today by a technician named Lani she was very and very professional! She had great customer service skills!🙂
My experience with Excellent Vision was exceptional. Found Dr. Lasonde when Eyesight cancelled my husband's Cataract Surgery a day before it was scheduled because they could not figure out how to invoice Railroad Medicare!!! From my first visit here...yes it takes awhile for the appointment but...well worth it. Thrilled when I found out that Dr. Lasonde was a pioneer with Lasix and only focuses on Cataract Surgery...their nursing staff is gentle, calming and supportive. For a surgery that everyone needs my experience here was exceptional...highly recommend Dr. Richard Lasinde (Cheryl Maher)
Was told that buying the $5000 upgrade for a multifocal lens would mean I would not need readers for up close vision vs the Medicaid paid regular lens which would give me distant vision but would need readers for up close. Well I paid for upgrade and need 1.75 readers for up close. Hugely disappointed, I feel I was greatly misled. After surgery when I complained I was told we hate people like you who had perfect up close vision…..????? So you can’t say before surgery your up closer vision will be bad no matter what you choose?
