I was on the search for a new eye doctor. Somewhere where it was warm, welcoming, and personal. A place where you get that one on one setting and you’re heard and not rushed. The simplicity of making my own appointment on-line was a breeze. To the nice selection of frames with the helpfulness of the reception gals. I found my place!

Came in for an eye exam and they dilated my eyes without warning, that was something they could have easily mentioned on the phone beforehand, but did not, making it very unsafe to drive home. They lied directly to my face about how the LASIK procedure would work. They explained it that after my initial eye exam, I would have a 2 hour pre LASIK appointment at their eye office where I would do all the pre-testing (including dilation) , and then I would have to travel to Flint for the actual LASIK procedure. I took a vacation day and arranged someone to drive me to that pre appointment and back. I waited for an hour and a half to see them for less than 5 minutes, they did not do a dilation and informed me that the staff had lied to me about how this process was going to work and that I would have to make two separate trips to Flint (One for pre appointment and one for the actual procedure). The staff at EYES either intentionally misled me or did so through incompetence. Either way it was a huge inconvenience, burn of a vacation day for me and my driver, and I’m stuck in glasses (need to stay out of contacts before pre appointment) for another two weeks. Plus I have to burn another day to go out to Flint twice instead of the one time. I will absolutely not be going back here and would not recommend. That being said, the actual eye doctors are friendly enough, just misinformed.

Very satisfied with my experience! Was able to get in quickly and had zero wait time once arrived. Dr Norfleet was very kind, thorough and answered all my questions. Optician assisting me with ordering contacts was knowledgable and efficient. Would highly recommend to others!

I had a very good experience at this office! The Dr Tom was extremely knowledgeable and had clarity with my questions. I felt seen and heard with my concerns and Dr Tom had solutions and good game plan for me. I will be returning yearly to this office!

Dr Norfleet is amazing! I was a new patient and she took the time to figure out the prescription level of my current glasses, spent time getting to know my routine with my work screen time and how that affects my vision at times. She is so friendly and genuinely used our time to build a positive relationship.
