Eye and Vision Care of Santa Barbara

Everything was fantastic. New equipment, friendly staff, easy check in. The decor feels like a spa. It took quite a while, a solid hour as a first time patient. And I didn’t care for the constant emails and texts in the days before my appointment (see photo for just the emails). Anyway, Dr Joanna was awesome, a super good communicator and very efficient and accurate. She struck me as a great doctor and exemplary human being!

Dr. Corby is a gem - knowledgeable and kind. The supportive staff at Eye & Vision are also terrific. I've been a customer for decades and have always been impressed by what a tight, well-run business this is.

I recently moved from out of state, so finding an optometrist I could trust was really important to me. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and completely at ease. Dr. Joanna Le was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. She took the time to understand my struggles with keratoconus and explained everything clearly, which meant a lot to me. It’s such a relief to have found an office where I feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. I’m grateful to have discovered this place and highly recommend it.

For some reason my exam here was not as good as it has been previously. The only outstanding part was the fellow who did my pre-work. He checked my current glasses and found them to be good, helped me get setup for the machine eye tests including eye photos. He was charming and easy to work with. I did not have as good an experience with the front desk, It was okay but difficult due to few open times for follow up work and the need to make very fast decisions. No time to consider what was needed as other people were waiting. Felt rushed and a bit cold. I was unable to see my regular eye doctor so saw someone new. This is part of the problem here. If you have to change an appointment for any reason, you may have to wait a very long long time to get another one. Therefore I was encouraged to try the new eye doctor. In time she may be great but I felt her "people" skills were not what I was expecting. I left confused and uncertain. Therefore this year only 3 starts out of 5.

I just picked up my new progressive sunglasses and the moment I put them on I knew they were perfect. Thanks to Monique's expertise and patience. Thanks Monique!!
