The staff and doctors are friendly. However, I was booked for my follow up with the wrong type of doctor. I was also given an old business card for my follow up that contained their old address in kirkland so I went to that location. There sign was still in the parking lot. Getting through on the phone was very difficult. Their call center is hard to hear and there were technical difficulties with sound. When I was transferred to the correct office, due to the connection the person hung up because they couldn’t hear me. Once I found the correct location on Google Maps, they were able to work me in to see someone for my follow up that day, but it was over an hour after my original appt before I was seen. Not 100% terrible but a few things along the way were not great.

I want to recognize the staff here—they are consistently busy, yet remain professional, focused, and diligent. Every visit, it’s clear they are working hard to provide quality care under pressure, and they absolutely deserve five stars. One thing I’ve observed, however, is that delays or frustrations in the waiting area often seem to stem from misunderstandings about insurance coverage or benefits. It might be helpful if patients come in with a clearer understanding of their own plans, as this could reduce tension and make the process smoother for everyone. Your benefits/coverage are your responsibility. Please understand that there's no such thing as a free lunch, and stop tying up the staff because you want to fight the universe.
I have been here twice now. The first time the clinic had not requested my previous records despite my going to this doctor as a referral, to see a specialist. The doctor said that she would have to review my previous records test patterns and things like that in order to form a determination on a diagnosis. Which is fair and good medicine, but my appointment could not be completed at that time . For the next 2 months I had to call the office about 6 times and keep leaving messages to speak to the care team to go over these records. I finally get a call back 2 months later. We schedule a follow up appointment, I show up for my 1 pm appointment at 12:40. They call me back i go over the initial check in questions and pressure test with the tech. Talked to him about needing medication refills, normal stuff. Dr does not come in until about 1:50. They once again do not have my records from my refering specialist. She asked me about my medication usage and re takes my eye pressure takes a look at the back of my eyes then goes to leave. That's it. That's what I just waited 50 minutes for. So I stop her and ask about the medication refill, which she knew nothing about. She seemed annoyed and abrasive about the request. She suggested a different med, I agreed. Then she promptly left and left her tech to finish things up. I left feeling like we didn't actually discuss anything because she didn't have all of the information and was in a rush and feeling like I was burden. I don't know what I'll be charged for this appointment but the previous appointment I was charged almost 500 bucks. What exactly am I paying for?
I was at Eye Associates in Kirkland for my annual eye exam and I highly recommend them. The staff was very efficient, informative and pleasant to work with during my exam. Dr. Franklin gave me a thorough exam, providing information on the health of my eyes and care of my eyes and vision.
We were very pleased with our annual check-up. Bella was very thorough with our exams and was very personable with a good sense of humor. Dr Franklin took her time to explain what she was doing during the exam and very patient with our questions.
