I been buying my glasses and getting my prescriptions done at Sam's Club. Frames and lenses were just ok. I did some research and ended up going to Milligan Optical. The quality of glasses and care is cut above all the rest of the other providers. Tammy was outstanding not only in helping with my glasses but her overall knowledge of the technology. I purchased frame-less glasses from them, and just got the Meta glasses from Oakley. The reason I am going to Milligan is because of Tammy and the overall support from the staff .

I have been going to discount glasses for the past 4 years. The lenses and frames are low quality. Problems with the lenses especially. I was not rushed though.Always trying to clean them but it was the lenses. Went to a well known optical co. I could not afford their glasses and they didn't like that. The eye doctor had no patience. Both places had many patients lined up for exams so they don't have time for you. I just went to Milligan Optical. The Dr was so patient and listened to me. No rush. Got my glasses in less than a week and I'm so pleased with them. First time in years that I forgot I'm wearing glasses. Very affordable, great quality lenses and I feel like he got my script right. Will return next year. Thanks

On 23 Aug 22 at 12:40 I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Tran. I arrived on time and the receptionist was very courteous and professional. I was called into the office by a Doctor Assistant, she introduced herself but I forgot her name. Well, the Assistant did the reading test with me and then dropped liquid in each eye to check the pressure, checking on possible Glaucoma. From the beginning, computer inputs, until eye drops she left the room several times and came back after a while each time. Also she was continuously coughing and that’s why presumably she wore a mask, nobody else in the office wore a mask. Checking the eye pressure did not work while I was sitting in my wheelchair I said I can get out of it if the Assistant would give me just a hand, I would not lean or put pressure on it, but she answered I can’t do it I don’t feel good and we also are not allowed to touch you. I also told her that I have some secretion on my eyes but she ignored it and said next time you come you better bring a companion. I left the office, a sick feeling and constantly coughing Assistant was working with me and I have no results not even from the reading test. I had an appointment with Dr. Tran but I never saw her! Mind you I am 86 years old and in an electric wheelchair.
