This is my second visit to the New Braunsfel location, and the 3rd to San Marcos. Both locations have outstanding customer service. And I can't say enough about Dr Ylana Alanis.....I totally trust her. She always makes me feel that she will take as much time as I need to totally understand and has always been quick to answer any questions I may have. Totally satisfied.
I have been seeing Dr Alanis for a few months. She is working hard to get me some relief with chronic dry eye and MGD. It has been quite a challenge, but she is very thorough, and I truly adore her. Top notch! Every one of the office workers and doctor assistants are very helpful and courteous.
After several negative experiences with my previous eye doctor I made an appt with S Texas Eye Associates New Braunfels after seeing that they had other options for treating my glaucoma other than eye drops three times a day. Dr Burns completed a thorough examination of my eyes and then explained his findings. I left feeling excited and hopeful. After cataract surgery and stent implants I am on my way to perfect vision and no eye drops! Dr Alanis is doing my IOL light adjustments, I couldn’t ask for two better doctors than Dr Burns and Dr Alanis. Switching was the best thing I have ever done! I’m both very pleased and thankful.
Doctor was great. Office was clean, old but clean... except the 2 dead roaches. Staff was nice. Doctor said he'd give me sample drops and prescription for rx drops... neither of that happened. I called left a message , no return call no prescription
I usually go to the Seguin Office but chose the New Braunfels office to see Dr. Kavanaigh sooner as he was leaving for vacation. I will not return to this office even though I live in New Braunfels. My appointment was at 3:05pm and I actually didn't get to see Dr. Kavanaugh till almost 5:00pm. There were other people in the waiting room complaining of the long wait. I don't know what the problem was but the staff seemed to have a lot of time on their hands as there were 4 of them yakking and joking in the hallway. When I was done with my appointment I had the assistant schedule me back to the Seguin office for my next visit. The Seguin office is usually full but they always seem to move more efficiently for appointments.
