Richard Cohn is the thinking woman’s eye surgeon. He’s calm, thorough and clear. Summarizes all sides of the issues but does not mansplain. Answers questions directly. Confident. Staff very good. Note- 3% credit card processing fee is passed along to the patient. I brought cash.
Dr. Cohen is the best! After informing my primary dr. that the lights from on coming traffic were very bright when I drove at night and I couldn't see, he said he saw a little cataract in my eyes and suggested I find an ophthalmologist. Because I didn't want to trust my eyes with just anyone, I googled the BEST ophthalmologist near me and Dr. Cohens office came up. After my visit we decided to do the surgery. I later learned he did my cousins laser cataract a while back and she said she could see all the way from Florida to Brooklyn!!! Even my optometrist always asks who did my eyes and when I say Dr Cohn he says he did an excellent job! He's the only ophthalmologist I go to. I think it's 7 years now. I won't trust my eyes anyone else!
My first visit and I was impressed! Great staff!!! He and his team are compassionate and professional. Thank you for taking time to explain the surgery needed and why in a detailed manner. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cohn.
The moment I was greeted at the front desk, I knew I had picked the right Optometrist. The staff were engaging and guided me through my paperwork. I didn't wait very long before I was escorted back the examining room. The medical assistant performed an eye test and told me I might have to wait a few minutes for the doctor because he was with another patient. I waited maybe 10 minutes until Dr.,Majoring greeted me. He gave me medical options for my situation. I was shown to the checkout desk with a warm goodbye. I highly recommend Cohen Eye Center. Tom Paterra
Doctor Cohn & his staff are just wonderful. There’s hardly any wait to make an appointment & you’re seen pretty quickly when arriving for your eye exam. I never had such a more thorough exam as performed by one of his staff members. Dr. Cohn is patient & thorough. Listens & answers all your questions. I feel very confident that my eyes are good hands.
