I had a really great experience here. They were able to get me in for a same-day appointment for a scratched eye , which I truly appreciated. The woman at the front desk was very polite and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The eye doctor who treated me was amazing — very caring, gentle, and kind. He took his time and explained everything he was doing, including what the eye drops were for, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. Overall, I felt well taken care of and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality eye care.

I took my son here because he failed his eye test with his pcp. The dr. here told me he had a lazy eye and prescribed him glasses to strengthen it. We did a 6m follow up and the doctor made a weird comment. He asked my son how long he had his glasses for. It made me feel like he didn't remember he prescribed them. He said all was the same and to keep wearing them. We then did his yearly and he told me that things were still the same but he was going to make an adjustment on his prescription. I checked out and the receptionist didn't give me his prescription so I later had to call to get it. We didn't go back and switched to akron childrens eye center which has been amazing. They never dilated my son's eyes at this location and never told me that my son doesn't actually have a lazy eye but is far sighted. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The doctor was exceptional! Explained everything, receptionist was great, answered all questions, got in quickly, doctor was not in a hurry. Pleasant experience

I’m so thankful for this place! I called in the morning and they were the only ones who could get me in the same day—which was a huge relief. I had called around to several offices with no luck. They were incredibly kind, reasonably priced, and very welcoming to me and my young kids who had to come along. The whole experience was smooth and positive. I’ll definitely be switching over—so grateful for the quick appointment and great care!

Dr. Hakim is by far the most knowledgeable and well-versed optometrist I’ve ever seen. He is truly thoughtful and considerate in his patient care- I highly recommend!
