I had a great experience at Midwest Eye Consultants. Mike was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The exam was thorough, and everything was explained clearly, making me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The entire staff was welcoming, and the office was efficient and well organized. I would definitely recommend Midwest Eye Consultants to anyone looking for quality eye care.

We used to see Dr. Callaway, who was wonderful, but after meeting Dr. Baumer today, we are just as pleased. He was friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the plan he came up with for my daughter. The visit didn’t feel rushed, there was no wait, and every single staff member was welcoming.

I had a wonderful experience with my eye appointment. The wait time was very minimal. Dr. Ryan was very thorough, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. It was the first time I met him. Overall it was a smooth visit from start to finish. I highly recommend him to anyone on need of eye care.

As a healthcare provider who usually dreads going to the doctor, Midwest Eye Consultants was the best eye doctor experience I have ever had! The office is very clean and quiet, so it is more relaxing than the “clinical” doctor’s office feeling. From the start, Aubrey and Kendra at the front desk were so welcoming, got me checked in immediately, and handled a rush of patients checking in after me tactfully and efficiently. I also recently changed insurance and forgot my new card, and Aubrey was so understanding and let me email it to her when I got home. Kara came to get me promptly and was very polite! She got a thorough history and was patient while I explained any new concerns. She was also very tolerant with taking my eye pressure and giving me the eye drops for dilation because I blink way too much. Dr. Baumer was very kind and a great listener! He actively listened to my concerns, reassured me about fear-mongering from optometrists I had seen in the past, and he was very funny! He has a great strength in connecting with his patients to put them at ease. Finally, their optician, Mike, was phenomenal! He is so sweet and friendly. He was patient while I tried about a dozen frames and once we had narrowed it down to three, the rest of the office helped me choose since it was close to the end of the day. I chose a pair that Mike described as “stunning” when I tried them on, and although they will mainly be for driving at night, I am so excited for them to come in! They did not try to up-sell me or pressure me. They let me take my time to choose a pair of glasses that I would like, especially since it was my first time ever getting glasses. The entire staff at this location made my visit fun and enjoyable! They really care about what they do and it shows in the high-quality patient care they provide. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone in the area!
