The office staff it was really nice. The waiting area was clean. Didn’t have to wait long for the nurses to come out and see me for the last 15 years. I’ve won glasses and the stuff that had told me that I do not need glasses. Just get a pair of reading ones.
Doctor wasn't helpful at all when I asked questions related to Eyes conditioned. I'm definitely not returning back to that place again. I felt like he was just ignoring me. Every questions asked him he aways give me a funny answer. I'm done with that place. I will provide a 0 rating for him. Mr. Rivera
I am from out of town and woke up with a bad eye infection. This office has the best staff ever; quickly checked me in over the phone and were super-friendly. At risk of this office becoming too busy to take patients like me, I'd recommend them 100%. Thank you!
This was my second annual eye check up here, and both experiences have been awful. The Elmwood location of ECVA is wholly and unapologetically mismanaged. Dr. Cotter is nice and experienced, with a good manner, but the rest of the office is unsatisfactory for a medical facilty. The front office staff are particularly snippy and officious. They rescheduled me twice, and even tried to do it a third time. When I came for my new appointment, the waiting room was overflowing. I inquired at check-in if my appointment would happen on time, and I eventually got an exasperated "it will be delayed". Someone else snarkily lectured "we tell everyone to expect 1-1.5 hours here". Okay fine, if I'm being seen for that hour or so, I'm good. But I didn't take time off work to wait an unreasonable amount of time because you can't manage your scheduling. Every time my tech tried to check something or perform some test, the supplies he needed could not be found. Staff were continually popping in and out of occupied patient rooms looking for what they needed, and not finding basic items. It was chaos. I need to find a new eye care office because this one is unbearable.
Dr.Kalinowski is an excellent eye doctor. She is smart, knowledgeable, and is a great communicator. My husband and I always feel very confident in her recommendations and the manner she manages the care of our eyes. We both have eye issues, and we have been going to her for over 7 years, and she has never steered us wrong! We highly recommend Dr. Kalinowski - you won’t be disappointed!
