Dr. Hitchcock is the BEST optometrist I have ever had. The staff has always been kind and respectful. I hate that Vision Center South took over this practice. I never had an issue with my insurance claims being filed, staff understanding how to read different policies, ordering glasses, or staff communicating important information when it was Troy Eye Care.
Dr Poikey is a godsend! She spent time with me, answered all of my questions (I have ocular hypertension, OD, so I’m no easy patient!) but she was incredibly kind and very knowledgeable! My eyes are safe with her—I will be back!
My first time to go there. Fantastic experience. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. P is great, so kind, typical Midwesterner. They have a great selection of glasses too and at a very good price. If you're looking for friendly and professional service, look no more. This place is great, do glad I went.
My very first visit to Vision Center South in Troy, AL and I absolutely loved it. Everyone from check in to check out were very professional and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They are literally like one big happy family all under one roof. I smiled and laughed during my entire visit. Dr. P. is hilarious. Praying that you keep the Saturday visits if possible. I will definitely be back next year for my eye care needs. Blessings
Dr. Poikey was so upbeat and informative! Best Eye exam I ever had! My vision is great! We talked about options from glasses and contacts to eye drops to help my near vision instead of readers! 10/10 would recommend!
