I explained what I wanted at the beginning of our conversation, reading glasses in professional frames with the same correction as my 2.5 cheaters. They spent 25 minutes figuring out the right kind of metal, only to tell me they don't have it in my size. I come up with my own compromise and then they say that I need to have a prescription. "Why didn't you tell me that a half hour ago?", I think but don't say. But okay, fine. "Let me talk with the optometrist." I say instead. Oh, the optometrist isn't here all day? What, exactly are you wasting my time for then? I can buy what I want for $15 at Walgreens, but you won't sell me the same thing in a decent frame for $115? And you waited until I've been standing here for more than half an hour to tell me that? I'm in sales, and I would never treat a customer so disrespectfully.
